Im curious to see what it turns out to be....

If you had to choose for President, who would it be?

For me, I like Bush....even if he did lead into a war....

Bush at least has a stance on issues.

Kerry just waffles back and forth depending upon public opinion polls.

I can't wait to see the end of June-beginning of July polls. Bush should get a boost because of the early turnover of power to Iraqi PM.

Ah yes, and Bush is a man of a high intelectual quotient! I have no doubts about that!
Wait yes!
I have my doubts! :D

BTW, 4zzY... you consider Michael Moore as a fat idiot or something like that... didn't you?
Well, your lovely Lord Nader is like kissing Michael Moore's big *** for support...
Hey Dude Where's My Buddy!!!??? Come Back Home Michael!!! (http://www.votenader.org/why_ralph/index.php?cid=54)
Where is my buddy!!?????
Hey, Michael, Where Were Your Friends? (http://www.votenader.org/why_ralph/index.php?cid=83)

@Sir Turylon
*AND THE AMERICAN NUKER ENTERS THE ARENA!!!
BTW, SIR NUKER! A QUESTION FOR KOH NEWS! DO YOU HAVE ANY SPECIAL PLANS FOR DEALING WITH ELEWYN THIS TIME???*

The turnover was early because of the disastrous state of things. And not because Bush has done things right.

The truth has 2 sides.

Please... Don't simplify the things... The 'towel's head' and his friends are bad and the 'brave & free' and his friends are good. :nono:

You are disregarding the fact that Kerry comes from Kongress where you sometimes have to compromise and act like a real polititian, and Bush is just a joker, a former alcoholic playboy, who "started" at top (as former Governor in Texas) and had the privilidge to just order things and they got done. But Bush really hasn't a clue about real politics, he is surrounded by neo-conservative hawks who push him in the direction he thinks he wants to go.

Hmm...we had this vote already and after some hard words it was closed by Frank...So I prefear not to vote and I don't say anything about Bush now. But to be honest, I don't think Kerry will be a much better president, and he has too less character I think...(Don't say now anything about the character of Bush, because I don't want an argument with Turylon :p)

Of course it's great that Saddam is gone, but that was not the reason for the war was it? Bush declared war on a lie, quick before the UN inspections would show that Iraq didn't have any arsenals of WMDs. And Iraq didn't house any Al-quaida training camps either (although Saddam of course symathieses with them). Would he have acted differently maybe he would also have the world opinion and help behind him.
In a larger perspective Bush have now made it OK for any nation to start wars against other nations or nationalities inside their own country accusing them of being terrorists...
So it's not only what he did, it's how he did it too. He's irresponsible and careless, and amateurs shouldn't be alowed to run the strongest nation on the planet...

It depend on which situation you are in.
If I was an american and looked at all the casualties in the war (in my opinion the war is still going on. Casualties nearly every day), I would vote for everyone who promisses fast peace.
If I was an american who thinks "Yeah! War! Let's kick some ***! I don't care if people die!" I'd vote Bush.

I want to add something to this post.
I know, something like this should never happen to be said on a public forum, but I can't help myself:
Poor americans. Poor americans.

I'm not old enough to vote but I voted anyways b/c both my parients and sisters would vote for Bush.

He is actually doing something about, an ungodly act, aborshin ( I think i misspelled that). And he is pushing an amendment in Congress to banned Gay marriages, even thou I don't think it should be an amendment but it should be out lawed. Yes he has made some mistakes and will make some more but who hasn't? Even the greatest President in the 2nd half of the century, Ronald Reagan, has made some misstakes but it turn out ok in the end. So give the whole Iraq war some more time and hopefully the bombings will go down and the unemployment rate will go down in Iraq too.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! No abortion or gay marriage discussion please!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate that discussion. It's impossible to convince both sides of the opposite. I have never seen anyone come closer to another person's standpoint in an abortion or gay (marriage) discussion. Believe and rationality don't go very well together in this matter.

P.S. Wouldn't it be interesting to see an outflow of gays moving to Canada once Bush is reelected. I've got some gay friends in the US that will surely emigrate if Bush is reelected (as they say). The once moving out will probably be wealthier; they can afford to emigrate. There is some correlation between wealth and intelligence. Furthermore Canada has a very selective immigration policy. Thus the US will have a braindrain. Who would have believed that!!!!! Smart (gay) people moving out of the US in stead of moving in.

Ok ok no abortion or gay talk, well for me at least but just to let you know Ben that the amount of gays that live in the country is like 0.8% of the population. I'm not sure on that number but it is around there somewhere. And then factor in the ones that have enough money to move, that'll be an even smaller amount so there will be no braindrane in the US.

Ben Nevis

well, Largefry, the problem with a "brain drain" is that not just anybody moves out of a country, but mainly the smart ones. Examples are Eastern Europe, the DDR and Russia during the "Communistic" period (say 1950-1990). It is often said that in general there is a brain drain out of poorer countries. It cuts from both sides. First of all, smarter people are more wanted by destination countries. Secondly, smarter people have more posibilities and capabilities to emigrate (e.g. money or know the right people). If mainly the smarter (richer and more wanted by Canada) gays will move out of the US we call this a brain drain.
Of course the amount will be really small, it was just a funny observation, cause usually the US is on the receiving side of the brain drain.
