The biggest problem with my computer is not the computer per-se. I only have dial up access and have run into problems doing large DLs. 61 MB driver updates take all night to get which can cause problems with the ISP service agreement (can not stay connected extended periods and it might auto-disconnect). I have to monitor any DLs. (groan)

I don't mind taking the time as long as I know that I am getting the right file.

Being I'm here after LadyH, she did note it right, save that card has Pixel Shaddrs 3.0 by default once the proper video drivers are installed. I believe I have PS 3.2 on my 7600GS. The drivers to use are the 91.47s you'll find a link to in my nVidia Sticky above. Do note the whole thread as there are also instructions to uninstall what you have and install the better drivers properly.

I too have many games even some Win95-only run in compatibility mode. To give you an idea here is what I have (which continues to grow as my finances permit) and I have all installed (even now), played, and checked them all with the noted drivers:

Nice game list. I have tons too, but most are not on this computer (the other one died from a low-power episode).

We have similar tastes. The ones from your list I logged the most hours playing are:
Civ series (all)(the AI cheating gets old fast tho)
Deadlock 1 and 2 (fantastic game)
RE Lee CWG 1 and 2
Pirates! 1 and 2

Some of the others I have tried, but never got really hooked on them and of course I have several not listed.
