Well, I started out using at Yahoo games a nick that was bluedirtdobber. At the time I was playing a little known game called Swarm Assault from MountainKing Studios(makers of Raptor and Demonstar). This game was based on warring hives of insects, there were spiders, wasps, ants, beetles and scorpions. And you could play as red, blue, green or yellow. One of the wasps looked a lot like a dirtdobber. When I was trying to come up with a nick for internet gameplay, I tried things like green hornet, red hornet, yellow bumblebee, red spider, etc.....
I thought about the blue tinted dirtdobbers we have here in the SE US and decided on bluedirtdobber, which was not taken. When I signed up at the 1503 AD forums I shortened the nick to Dobber and eventually chose a Jester as my avatar. My personality is somewhat that of a joker, and Dobber sounds kind of like a court jester's name. Long story, very little excitement!:D

Mine is if you dont know the son of Mars...one of the two twins..Romulus and Remus...I also go by Mars and Pachino...Pachino is my actual RL nickname given to me by my step bro lol..Me my step bro and my friend were walking on the sreet and I got on my skateboard and took off...and my friend says "hey wait up" and I responded with like a mafia tone...."no way!"..and my step bro said I sounded like Al Pacino..but we put an H in it lol....was pretty random..Romulus and Mars I like becuase they are my favs out of Roman Myth =D

The Crazy Irish!!! Offcourse I remember him!!! He is very cool indeed....especially in the part were they are going to fight the Irish....and then suddenly they all stop and great.....and you see his face....."I said that Ireland was mine!!!" (don't remember the exact phrase....)

haha, good thread...My nick means Sand ( my surname in polish language is Piasek...In english Piasek=Sand)....Sand+Man, hehe...Do U understand, guys?? Sandman = 'enter sandman' (one of Metallica's song) ...I love heavy metal and brutal kind of death metal music....
And Lord??? Hmm..this is my old nick on few certain forums about medieval games, especially in Lords3 forum...

My nickname is sindarin elvish of Tolkien. It's my nickname for quite some time and I seem to grew with it.

Anyway it means 'star-flame-haired-elf' or something like that, it was actually a name for Gil-galad(those who read Tolkien know what I am talking about) but was discarded. Still it's a nice name and I took it since I am a huge Tolkien fan predating the movies.
