Do any of you know of some good sites with medieval history? A broad topic, I know, but any and all are welcome! :)

Thanks in advance.

I actually wanted to post a new topic for this, but now weve got this one, i found that innecessary.

Does anyone know any books/sites about Medieval Warfare, and then i mean military tactics. I want to start a kinda collection. I already read Vegetius' Handguide for the Roman General (very good book, for those interested) and I would like to have some more in my small collection.
Any ideas?

P.S. Im only interested in Greek,Roman and Medieval warfare.

Man, i typed you first title at amazon, and i found the book, and also a few related titles, some very interesting. If you want to know, honaire, here are some:

Christopher Gravett Medieval Siege Warfare (Elite)
JF Verbruggen The Art of Warfare in Western Europe during the Middle Ages from the Eighth Century (Warfare in History)
Charles W Oman Art of War in the Middle Ages A. D. 378-1515
Kelly DeVries Infantry Warfare in the Early Fourteenth Century : Discipline, Tactics, and Technology (Warfare in History)

Oh and thx for your list, ive already ordered one :D

Noldy..These following books aren't medieval in nature, but they are good military books.

100 Decisive Battles: From Ancient Times to the Present Paul K Davis
Battle Leadership Captain Adolf Von Schell

Battle Leadership is the greatest book on leadership that I have ever read. This book was written by a German Officer in World War I. There are many other books written by German Officers, such as Acthung Panzer written by Heinz Guderian and Knight's Cross written by Erwin Rommel. If you ever want to read anything, relevant, on military leadership or tactics, pick something written by a German Staff Officer from at least fifty years ago as the German General Staff was the best, in my opinion, in over two hundred years.
Oh yeah, here is one last book that I suggest that you read:

The Prince Niccolo Machiavelli

Also, it looks like I will be picking up the Art of Warfare, looks interesting.

Steven William...Dungeon, Fire, and Sword is about the history of the Knights Templar, but it also gives you a good understanding of the political situation during the era(1100-1300) and talks about other important figures. There is one chapter devoted entirely to Frederick Barbarossa's Crusade. Very Cool!
