Easy question.
I like longswords and greatswords best... or fighting with two longswords... one in each hand... that's my favourite kind of fighting, striking quick and hard... but my speciality is striking hard, but slow, with a great claymore... yeah, that's my style, hehe...
The quick striking is rather the thing of nice Asian girls who are fighting with two katanas and using their sexy kung-fu moves, hehe :D
ut I love to shoot with crossbows or eith rifles, too. Especially crossbows.

My favourite medieval weapons are as follows:the Lance, two-handed swords(war swords), the longbow, and the morning-stat(as well as other maces)

Well I like riding a horse with a claymore, a sheild with a metal lance and a crossbow on my back, with a hevy armor for me and my horse.... If you remember the british cavalery that was not defeted untin william walles did with that trick.. soo that cavalery, but also with a claymore and a hevy crossbow.
oh, an another stile: ninjutsu stile.... a katana in the darkand a light crossbow.... all that is need for a silent assasin...

I like fencing. Thus my weapon would be a rapier (a very light-weight sword).
I don't use force to fight, but cunning and style :go: .

hehe Adolf.

Gimme a hand and half for offense and a strong kite shield.

Shields are so effective at more than just blocking though. ;)

full combat setup... hmm.. bastard sword strapped on back (hand and half), one handed longsword hooked on left side, wakizashi strapped on right. A dagger strapped around each shin. Lastly a shield slung around left arm and held on back. :cool:

Yeah, shields are effective for basing, too.
But using two swords is even cooler...
But my style is using a greatsword in both hands, and just hard and brutal hacking and slashing with it.

A greatsword in both hands? Got to see that:p I think I would wait for you to come after me, until you tire from running around with all that weight, lol.

Not a greatsword in EACH hand, one greatsword held in both hands...
Otherwise I would fall to the ground when swinging my weapons :p

shields can be considered as one of the best weapons in medieval age since you can kill somebody and defend yourself.

they are more deadly when u adjust your shield :cool:

The largest greatswords wiegh about 3,5 kilos. If you can't carry that without falling to the ground...

Yup. I can. But I can't really fight with the heaviest of those...
usually take smaller greatswords... not the REAL big things.

it doesn't matter about what the weight of the sword is.. it depends upon where the weight is balanced. for a good shield smashing sword, you want the weight centered closer to the tip of the blade... for a more agile blade, closer to the hilt. that's why I prefer hand'n'half swords... you can adjust the balance depending upon where you hold it. :go:

that weapon will brake second it doesnt harm someone armored
