Hello everyone. All I want to do is to edit the number of soldiers in a company of a specific unit. I know where the files are located and such, however I really do not understand how to input the information to see changes in the game. My goal is to, for example, make a peasant unit go from 40 soldiers to 90 or something, or 60, whatever. If someone could please help, thanks.:biggrin:

Short explanation:
Open units.xls, modify the unit stats, press ctrl+a, ctrl+c, open units.txt, press ctrl+a, del, ctrl+v, ctrl+s
But please make only one change at a time. If you make any mistake the game might not start at all and you won't know what's wrong.

Very interesting, but i never make so.
Thx for the hint.:biggrin:
In my mod i only change the units.txt values. More men, ok, change the number of the mens in units.txt
More/lesser defences, attack all change in the units.txt.

units.txt isn't very user friendly, so there's units.xml for us mortals. :biggrin:

ok i found that it was a bit confusing. And heres another problem: I change'd prince name like this:
[prince_1]
name = Mindaugas
icon=31

But ingame i receve my prince name Mindaugas.m i understand it means male but how and where to delete it (.m)? :confused:

You must add a line in \texts\knights\eu_knights;2.tsv like this

Mindaugas.m (tab) Mindaugas

And a big hello to Wolfitz. Pozdrav, matori. :go:
