View Full Version : [en] What's Your Favorite Movies?
Yes Braveheart is very good movie! I like all of Mel Gibson's movies, he is a very talented actor.
I think that Braveheart is one of the best historical movies. I mean costumes are god, music good, acting as well....
impossible to compare with film Excalibur, where Arthur and knights of the Round table fight in armoury from late 15th century
also I must agree with Bagpipe that Gladiator is a crap (but not as much as Troy-there's not Brad Pitt in Gladiator  - or Excalibur - don't know what is worse, if acting or costumes)

my favorite movies are:
- lord of the rings
- braveheart
- matrix
- 5th element
- scorpion king
- kill bill
- sky captain
and many more ;)
Mainly Historical Movies:
- lord of the rings (well...historical flavor)
- Braveheart
- The Patriot
- The Gladiator
- Arthur
I also liked Troy a little bit and Alexander was plain boring IMO.
How could I forgot 5th Element after watching it 4 or 5 times :silly:
The Patriot is also good.
Also these films about Napoleonic Wars where the main character was british rifle officer Sharpe. Saw these long ago and there were somtin like TV Series, some 15 films about 2 hours long each. It was great: battle scenes, uniforms and other napoleonic stuff. :go:
Star Wars is also a great saga. I particulary like all Star Wars universe they created - weapons, states, galactics, planets and other.
About actors. I agree with you guys, al these: Sean Connery, Jean Reno and especially Tom Hanks are really great :go:
I loved Troy! And not just because Brad was in a skirt...
My favourite movies:
Forrest Gump
Last Samurai
Lord of the Rings
Oh yeah, last samurai is also great!
How about the Life of Brian by mounty phython its so much funner of a movie and yet it gets very little credit
Thought this might be an interesting topic to revive!
