This could get very pricey with all the add-ons and accessories.

I couldn't decide how to vote in the poll. I usually don't support microsoft as I saw a number of companies get frozen out by what they have done but I do use their stuff. This does look like a good gaming system though and my kids like xBox Live already.

the xbox360 is (or will be) a nice console gaming system, indeed!
sure M$ has a bad image. SF has also some image problems after ANNO 1503. but does not every one deserve a second change, if he or she shows a real and honest change in behaviour.

and M$ is not M$. it is a huge company with different teams working on different missions

Since the End User License Agreement of Windows Xp SP1 my dislike of MS is not just caused by marketing. I just won't give anyone the right to see, browse and transfer my files.

EULAs currently aren't valid law in germany!
and angryminer with the 2nd maulkorb many other people are allowed to watch your file transfers. even the providers and backbones can technical watch ;) wheter you use windows, linux or mac os, so what ... i don't want to change my job with the guys sniffing my senseless, ironic or stupid mails, icq, postings with attached images and stuff like that.

well about my opinion why i think so well- i never liked xbox , the controll are hard to get used to , i just dont like it at all .


and about cancer part well-

when xbox was created an unoticeble graphic-microwave problem was made. the amount of microwaves that xbox sends out is huge which is dangerous to the brain. it burns much more cells then usaual- it also causes cancer.

And where did you find the research that discovered this problem? And the research that showed it's affect of causing cancer? Back up your statement with the facts.

What I don't like about M$ is the way they can control the market place. I was very mad about the Java machine that they installed with their system and what they tried to do to SUN in the process. They have done that with many things. Did their upgrades of directx have an effect on gaming?

I hate how their systems/programs are not backward compatible. Many years ago, I took a Visual Basic course and while in the course my husband decided (Grrrr) to upgrade our computer to Windows 95.
The MS VB would not run on windows 95 at all. I had to work on my program using the OS2 Warp version of Windows 95 to work on it. IBM wrote a better simulator of 95 than MS wrote the real thing.

read it in a daily paper were some electornic enginners made some test . i cant really prove it . ive tryed to research it but i only get health sites that shows xbox 360 pics. so it should stay as an fact .

Well, I do like the idea with the PowerPC. The PPC architecture is a good and powerful technology, but I find the market strategy of Microsoft frightening for my usual work at home.
But well, I don't like gaming-consoles at all. I find it much too hard to develop games on them. On a PC or Mac that's by far easier.
