Congrats, Kuno!
Btw our CSKA defeated the European champion Liverpool as guest, but only with 0:1, which isn't enough after the 1:3 here... But hey - it still deserves a beer!

big suprise for Slovakia, nobody hoped, that Petrzalka will go in CHL. My prognose was about 3:0 for Belegrad...
I saw some highlights in TV, but not Art. Bratislava  so Xuca, how was the match?
Thun was perfect and the 2.rd goal incredibile....magnificient Lustrinelli
Sofia was pretty good, but have had a good luck, because, what I saw the Reds have got many many chances.
Congratz to you all guys who's teams made it through! And Traveller, who's CSKA defeated champions in their field
I think Champions League will be really interesting this year with teams like Thun, Artmedia, Udinese, Rapid Wien. We'll see what teams will join them after tonight's matches.

yes, it will be interesting to see those small clubs again teams like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester, Inter, ....

Partizan dominated throughout the whole match, and we had more than 15 chances to score. And 3-0 would be expected, but we didn't had any luck. It was 0-0 after 120 minutes, and since we didn't had luck in regular time, there was no reason for us to have luck in penalties. It was 3-3, and we had the last penalty. Boya missed, and in a new serie Djurica scored and Brnovic missed.
It's really ironic, all these years we had very hard opponents, even when we managed to get in Champions League, and now, everybody told that Partizan had some luck and got easy oponents, but...
I wish your team the best luck in the Champions League :go: , and we are left with the UEFA cup, so we'll see what we can do there...

yeah I read the report from match, and there were plenty of chances to score for Partizan :nono: , but football is not a chess and in many cases the dominant and better team lost. Our golie has had his best day....
so my condolation to Partizan's fans.
and good luck in Uefa cup :go: , I think there will be no other slovakian team..
but wait till Thursday

results from yesterday:
aggregated 1.st 2.nd
Vålerenga 1-1 Club Brugge (3-4p) 1-0 0-1
Man. United 6-0 Debrecen 3-0 3-0
Everton 2-4 Villarreal 1-2 1-2
Anorthosis 1-4 Rangers 1-2 0-2
Shakhtar 1-3 Internazionale 0-2 1-1
Basel 2-4 Bremen 2-1 0-3
Brøndby 3-5 Ajax 2-2 1-3
Anderlecht 4-1 Slavia 2-1 2-0
So if I look at that, no surprice....
hm Slavia deserved better results, but Anderlecht used very impressive breaks. But no playmakers in Slavia.
Basel has stayed 60 minut, then they have had pause for 10 and it was enough for 3 goals  , Maybe if Gimenez will play, they would have bigger chance. I do not understand the red card for klose.
So best wishes for winners and I cross my fingers for the others in UEFA CUP :go:

Well, our teams are out of the CL, but we still have UEFA (I hope we could include it here)! And all 4 Bulgarian teams continue there:
CSKA Sofia after being kicked out by Liverpool in the CL
Levski Sofia after beating Publikum (Slovenia) with 3:0 yesterday (3:1 as a whole; I have to admit - Levski's my fav team, but they played really awful against this dwarf)
Litex after losing by Rieka (Croatia) with 2:1 (2:2 as a whole, with goal on foreign stadium)
Lokomotiv Plovdiv after beating OFK Belgrade (Serbia) with 1:0 (2:2 as a whole, with goal on foreign stadium)
So even our weaker teams have some chance at least for UEFA!
We'll have only two teams cup UEFA. Partizan, which failed to get through to the CL, Crvena Zvezda (Red Star) which won against Inter Zapresic 4-0, 3-1 (7-1 ).
OFK Beograd didn't get through, as Travaller said, and Zeta lost from Siroki Brijeg 4-2, ag. 5-2
All these years our teams couldn't reach the spring in Europe. After 10 years, Partizan broke the curse and managed to do that in UEFA cup last year, but unfortunately got eliminated immediately. We'll see if we can do that again...

Uefa cup:without slovakian teams
MSK Zilina only tied in Vienna - 2/2, and lost home 2/1 so is out
Dukla Banska Bytrica - 0/0 home, 4/1 lost in Groclin (with one of the best slovakian trainer - Radolsky), :bland: :bawling:
so we all hope for Artmedia in CL, but it will be impossible hard :go:
