Right click the Daemon-Tools-symbol in the lower right corner and disable "Lock DLL" in the following menu. Or read the manual of the Daemon Tools. :wink:

Of what version? I'm running 4.00 and there is no "Lock DLL" option..

I'm using some release from a year ago. Don't know which one exactly, propably 34*.

No matter which user name you use, I have not seen your DxDiag or you background program list, so would you please provide so I can see what might be the problem? If not sure how, read my Sticky abotu problems with the game and follow both sets of instructions. You can start a new thread of note it in your other one is preferred.
