Can't use cheats

hello,

When my litte brother want to play anno 1602, he is alway bankrupt.
So i gave him some cheats.
But the cheats wont work, you must hold ctrl+Shift+Alt+W to get a prompt and you must type in 2061.
But i don't get a prompt.
Can someone please help me!? :angry:

AFAIK you will not see the prompt, but just a small cursor above or below.

But... why don't you (or your brother) play without cheats? - Just build 25-35 houses, make sure that they are in the influence area of a market place and a chapel, provide cloth and watch them upgrading to settlers. Then, deliver alcohol (from one vineyard or one sugarcane plantation plus one distillery), build one or two more fishing huts, do not build the school, tavern, spice and tobacco plantations, and increase the taxes as long as the settlers are smiling. Lean back and watch your money growing, entirely without cheats... :smile:

Or... use the editor to create a scenario with ten millions... :wink:
