I think it's the right time for revenge, Frankish. Expect no mercy.

Mercy from who? LAZOVIC? HAHAHA!
Nah, I think SCG have a good chance of going through, it'll be a very open group :)
And who will become champion?

Brazil, Holland or Italy
In my opinion, of course.
Hey Frankish, it seems that Holland won't take it's best team to the WC. What do you know about that?

Yea, some obvious choices have been left out, like Huntelaar and Castelen. Still, I'm very optimistic about the chances.
I saw the SCG squad the other day, how do you feel about it?
It's the squad we all expected, and we could do well if we try hard. We are also optimistic because both Holland and Argentina left out some fine players, and our morale is higher than ever before. The teamwork is on a high level, we have an expert leading us and that should be enough to do better than in last 10-15 years.
On the recent press conference our manager gave the following statement:
"I can't promise you that we will win the World Cup, but I can promise you that we won't!"
As you can imagine everybody started laughing. When he realised what he said, he corrected himself:
"I can't promise you that we will win the World Cup, but I can't promise you that we won't!"

Flops: Angola, Trinidad, Germany
You're not funny, FrankishHero.
Germany is a very good tournament-team. Last cup, 2002, Germany was in FIFA World Cup final against Brasilia. Okay, we lose, but only 1:2. I think, with our good team and stars e.g. Ballack and Klose (there is an interesting article in DER SPIEGEL) we've a good chance, to win the cup or come in the semi finale. And: We've home advantage.
Otherwise have Argentinia, Brasilia and France a good chance, to come far.

Oh yes. A great tournament team.
1998: Croatia - Germany 3 - 0.
2000: First Round Exit
2004: First Round Exit

Netherlands didn't even manage to qualify into it, so you shouldn't talk too much about poor German performance in WC2002

I never said Germany were poor in 2002. Just that they were poor in 1998, 2000 and 2004.

Very good point.
And why should we try to be good in the European Championships (2000, 2004)? We'll take the whole world...
