Can anybody write here the list of new goods which we will surely see in the game?

I heard about Honey and Sweets. What's more :)?

There will be 4 new goods: Ivory, Jade, Fur, Talisman
You need these to become an Aristocrat.

i heard about food for pioneers as well as drapery (?)
alcohol and tabbaco should be in the game, too. i think they will be needed for settlers.
lamp oil is in the game again (after 1503) and sweets made of chocolate and honey

colonial produce is in the game, too, WalkerBoh named them above.


(omg i should take some english lessons concerning anno vocabulary. sorry)

I also read that Ivory, Jade, Fur, and Talisman will only be available by trade with native cultures or purchased from the freetraders. Their cost is high and there will be only one avaiable per game. When the game is started the computer decides which of the 4 goods will be in that game.

Its Funny eh do u guys actually remember the coco plantaion in anno 1602 :scratch: .
I wonder if they will include the coco plantaion again i hope soo :hello:

Hey Ive got a great idea would it be good if they added like fruit plantaions to the game. maybe paddy fields for rice , diffrent types of spices like mint , lemon grass , maybe honey farms . and i can go on for ever . but im trying to save time and money lol , :go:

it seems, there is no spice in the game anymore.
no swimming baths and no park, too.

added:
- power/might: it seems you have to build a senat building to satisfy aristcrats.
- 2 kinds of theatre
- perfume for aristocrats

No spice? It will be really bizzare for me - I think if we ask anybody about a product brought from New World, they will answer "spices" ;p.

yep, and it will also take away the choice between spices and tobacco wich we had in 1503 and 1602.

Oh, but they have added some goods as well, perhaps you will now have a choice between tobacco and a new good. If they left in the salt, perhaps a choice between tobacco and salt.

We will know soon.

no, there will be no new goods except sweets and parfume.

the new colonial goods can be seen as one single good, because there will be only one of them in the game and they all have the same function.

so all in all, the number of goods is reduced.

Okay, so we have cocoa and honey added, together they make sweets, we have perfume added, and the colonial good, that is 4 new goods, 3 new products. What else is gone besides spices, salt and medicinal herbs?
There has to be something else gone for there to be fewer goods!

We may as well have a choice between food and jewelery. Look that salt is one of a basic products needed - nor that spices and tobacco which are rather exclusive.


I'm dissapointed, thinking that authors will use many of goods suggestions from wishlist :/

Mhhh... No spices!? But wasn't it cocoa, spices and tobacco at the same level in 1602? So maybe cocoa will be demanded as cocoa in the early stages of the game and later as sweets? :rolleyes:
