No, it's an RTS, pretty much standard RTS unit control.
...and created by the same people from Impressions, who developed Lords of the Realm 1&2...

That is also my favorite medieval game, where you can see the correct royal families from almost every country in the world.:)

Thanks, I just might give it a try. The local department store has the combo pack(whatever it is called) that has Stronghold and Crusader packaged together for a good price.

Buy it! It is great! Buy only the Expansion, because the original game is includes in the expansion!
And somewhen this year comes out Dungeon Siege2

hehe.
It is a great mix between strategy and role playing game.
You can have up to 8 characters in your party and have to protect bowmen and magicians with your fighters and have to make some strategies etc.
But it is good that DS2 will be released later. They'll have more time to make the world bigger, the story better and to remove the bugs ;)

Well, I'm just glad when they're removing the bugs.
Did you ever play the game Söldner?
Well, I don't think you played it, because it is a German game and probably not yet released in your Country. But it has so many bugs and such a bad AI, I hope they would have worked on it a bit longer. My friend had a stupid adventure with the AI once:
He jumped out of a plane and used his *Fallschirm* (Don't know the English word, they are the big white things you use to fall down slowly from the sky.) and waited for the AI-controlled team-colleauge to jump out, too. He waited for a while and suddenly someone fell down right beside hi9m with 200 mph. The guy was too stupid to open his *Fallschirm* and fell down into a lake with 200 mph. My friend thought the guy was dead, but he survived it (!) and crawled out of the lake and walked around there waiting for him.
That's what he said (in German) about the AI:
Die KI iss so blöd, des glaubst du net. Der Typ war so was von doof, ey!

Medieval Total War!
Yeah, MTW is great, although it has a few inaccuracies. Stronghold is also a fun game, but can wear a bit thin.

you're right about the inaccuracies about MTW, but it never was their intention to make it such realistic as they trying here (for KoH)
I go for Medieval: Total War and Age of Empires (2 whole different games but whatever)

Is there going to be a third AoE? I thought that when they diverged into the Age of Mythology branch it was done.
