Ahhhhhhhhhh, nuttin like a good philosophical question. Well I think most prefer peace, but time and again mankind has opted for war throughout history to solve differences.

i voted for war because after war is peace

example holland had a 100 years war with spain for independence and that could only manage with war after a 100 years war Holland had his independence and a peace triety with spain

maybe without war there was no holland

I can not change the opinion of some people here, but if you say war is good, look at the Irak.

This war had maybe been a "good" war, if the reason was to free the people. But this was never a reason for George "I am a war president" Bush! And the mass destruibt weapons don't exist.
I would say, that the only reason was the oil and the revange, because Saddam wanted to kill his dad. And what is with the terrorists, they never cooperated with Saddam. Bin Laden and Saddam hate each other. But now the Irak is a paradise for terrorists and the hate in the Arabian Nations against the West becomes bigger and biggger...

So I ask you, was this a good war?

I say NO!

PS: But I must also say, now it's to late for go back, the USA must stay in the Irak till it's quite there. They made a lot of faults, now and in the past so they should at least now look that the Iraki people can life in peace. And yes it isn't onl the fault of America the comlete West made faults and also people like el Sadr are a handicap for the peace...

I am not an American but i hate it when people make bad remarks about the Americans and they have no facts just some stupid jelosy the fact is that America is a super power and it doesnt need to ask Joe Shmoe if its okey to go after its intrests. If they need oil they damn going to get it they are not stupid they do every thing for a reason. they did every thing in there power to make the situation satisfactory in Irak but still there is a rebelian. I dont belive that the American people want their soldiers to die. American is Republican right now just like Romans were Republican, well what do you know Romans acted alot like the Americans now. Not saying that every one at that time wasnt going to war or trying to build and empire.

Iraq is BIG mistake, ofcourse. But I'm traing to say that the war is way to release your agresion, and people can't keep their agrresion forever they have to realese it somehow and often they chose war.

take the dession to be a solgier knowing that to be solgier means to kill so I think it's their dession.

I choose war... only in the games. In the real world - definitely peace. People die in real wars. And death is real. And real men and women die.

About the States - I don't want to talk about them. I just hope they will come to themselves and stop behaving like a teenager.



btw a question mainly to the Bulgarians here - what do you think about the article in New York Times that Bulgaria and Ukraine have sent not good enough soldiers in Iraq?
