Multiplayer in KoH

Well, it is not entirely true. The thread title is "Multiplayer in KoH" and his first words are:

The word "besides" suggests that the multiplayer and single player modes listed below are there in addition to the "Play in Europe" mode, which is playable - and since the thread title is "Multiplayer in KoH" that implies this mode is playable in multiplayer as well.

Now, if this is not the case, then I would like a moderator to really clarify this, but it would certainly be a bummer. KoH is looking like a great game to play, but for me multiplayer mode is usually where the real merit of the game shines (playing against AI is never as challenging as playing against a human opponent) and not being able to play in the strategic mode in multiplayer will make KoH just another RTS with nice graphics. That's all.

Believe us, the Europe-mode isn't playabel for multiplayer, he means in addition to the SP-Europe-mode! ;)

Can we please have a moderators feedback on the multiplayer Empire vs Empire, SP map of europe typegame? Thats what I am most interested in knowing at the moment. So far the rest of the game looks great!

Yes I can see that but did you notice that I was asking if the mods could comment on whether or not they are going to add E vs E? Seeing how many people want this I was wondering if the mods could tell us whether or not the possibility of this mode getting added.

Sometime last year Frank Fay once said that KoH's engine is designed for network-compatiblity. However, he didn't want to say if a Empire vs Empire mode was planned.

So we wont be able to play the Europe Map online? What a pity. Does that means I wont be able to build my empire and then smash my online enemy's like in AoK or other RTS games?

but check all available MP threads...there is plenty of possibilities in MP...

tim has the right idea. I know what the mod posted at the beginning but with all these people asking for E vs E I was thinking they might add it. Thats all I wanted to know from the mods if theres a possibility of us being able to play E vs E.

I dont have good experiances with multiplayer Addons... look at 1503 A.D. , waited all the time for a multiplayer patch, then the sad news came that it was impossible to make. I had to visit a psycologist because of that!

Well, seen that KOH has got MP (and alot of other things 'fcourse), i dont think i will be doing much else than KOH from the release on!

I don't think there will be a dedicated servor if I believe all what I have seen but we will be able to play with gamespy... like codename panzer for example. ;)

Since there are only about 6 historical battles to play, will there be released more after the game release on the site for dowload?
