Hi everyone
Name: Andreas Madsen
Age: 16
I live in Denmark, in a VERY small town.
In the small amount of spare time I have, I read a lot (Tolkien :D), play my computer and stuff like that.
I've been playing football (scoccer) since I was 4, and I'm still trying to figurd out if a carrer in England, Spain or Italy will do for me (got offers from big clubs in these contries).
Havn't got a foto around, but I'll keep searching and let you know if I find something.

And some facts about myself:
Name: Justas
Age: 19
Place: One nice Lithuanian town ~15 km from The Baltic sea.
Occupation: Studying Economics for the first year.
Zodiac: Aries
Fav. food: Italian
Fav. drink: beer
Interests: Mad about football from 9 years of age. Also like other sports, but don't do any, being too lazy. Fond of history: books, movies, documentaries and, of course, games (RTS).
Couldn't live without rock music, which energizes and excites feelings. What's more... love beautiful girls:cool: ....having time with friends in smoke-filled pubs... wandering at nights. Unfortunatelly, it doesn't happen too often:(
I'm goin to (in the nearest future): learn to play guitar, watch EURO 2004, and, definitely, play KoH:)

Here is me:
My name is Krunoslav Stjepan...I am not telling you my last name. :p
I can't tell you what Krunoslav means (roughly Crown-glory or something like that...), but Stjepan is in english Stephen.
I am 22 years old and I am currecntly student of Econimcs. I live in Osijek which is small, but fourth by size town in Croatia. It's placed in Slavonia on the river Drava(Drau) close to Hungarian border. If you find on old maps town named Esseg thats Osijek in Hungarian. You also might have heard it on the news somewhere in the 90s as well, not very good news though...
I am not very tall being only 170 cm's. I have light brown-dark blond hair, blue-grey eyes.
I played almost any sport all with some success, but neither one was interesting to me enought to keep training it....I got bored easily.
Although I must say I was quite good at soccer (and I like to think I am still am :D ) and tae-kwod-do crap. :p
Anyway I like history, geography, foreign languages, fantasy, SF, movies....all kinds of stuff.
And thats....all.:p
Btw. don't have any pictures or more correctly no new ones. I have one from when I was about 15-16 years old, but that one is old...

Than you really have some other ancestry as well, not just Croatians as you mentioned before! Not a typical Croatian, I must say.
Hm it was you who said something about that hes got Hungarian and some other ancestry as well? I cant remember..
A photo would be nice anyways. :)
Btw I am blonde / blue eyed, my brother, my mother as well. My father is light brown/green eyed.
Oh and I am 1/4 Serbian, the name of my grandmother [my father's mother] is Kopunovic.

Most Croats in the north(Slavonia, Medjimurje, Zagorje) are quite different than the ones from the south(Dalmatia, Lika) who are dark haired.
Most Croats in north are light haired and have light eyes and look very slavic or germanic, but thats because this is SLAVonia.
The ones in Istria are then again of different sort as well. :p

I am only half Croat and thats through my father...although I think there flows some other non-croat blood in my veins through m fathers line as well. They came from Bosnia or so one of my ancestors wrote, although I am not sure to what "Bosnia" did he refer since Bosnia held huge parts of Dalmatia and Serbia.
In any case through my mother I am also part Italian(north italian from Veneto region), part German(southwest german from Swabia), part Bohemian(from Moravia) and part Hungarian(from Temes I believe, but south Hungarian definately). My great grandmothers last name was Sebesczen or something like that...
If I find the old photo I'll post it. It's not a good photo anyway and it's olde 5-6 years or more...

Typicaly Slavic as well. Also Serbs are very like Croats. Those in south are mostly dark haired and those in north light haired, but like Croats huge majority are dark haired.

Ah....Sebescen is an ancient magyar name.
Well wow, your ancestors are from all parts of Central/East/South-East Europe!
Interesting. I was in Croatia many, many times, and ~10/8 people were black haired / very dark eyed, but mostly white.
I very rarely seen blondes in Croatia, there are lot more in Hungary, Germany, Poland, Sweden or Finnland.
Funny thing is that I look like Slavic, and my brother is nordic/faelid anatomically. :D
You can see his picture in my first post.
Maybe I will visit you, I am going to Croatia very soon again.
@serbs - croats.
There are huge flame wars between serb and croatian members on some European racial/anthropological/genetical/history forums.
The Serbs are calling the Croatians gypsies, and non-europeans because of the various theoires about the indo-Iranians, the Croats are calling the Serbs slavicized dogs.

Yes it's a very old magyar name. I knew that much. She was a real Magyar. I met her once or twice when I was little, but she was very old. She lived up to 99 years....almost 100. :D

Well it depends in which part you've been. I was looking especially about hair complexion for some time in my town and I noticed there a lot of kids having blond or light hair. My best friend for example also has light hair, but his mother is from Medjimurje(around Varazdin) and she has red hair which means they are obviously of germanic-celtic origin.

Well I am not sure how I look, but I would say that I am more alike to Celts anatomiclly. I am not very tall and I have light hair and eyes. Some might have mixed me for an Irish or British. In fact once when I was in Spain I wore Arsenal's shirt and some english guy came to ask me for results...he though I am one of his. He then noticed my accent... :p

I usually deprive myself from such "arguments" unless you offend me personally...of that I am alergic (you probably noticed...). In any case it's a parody since Serbs and Croats have much incommon regarding origin. It is just that nationlists on both sides separated us in the last 100-150 years and so today Croats and Serbs don't like each other very much.
Edit: It's no strange that I have mixed heritage. My families on both sides were quite active in the old "Habsburg Monarchy". You could say I am a true Austrian-Hungarian. :D ;)

Really? I presume in Dalmatia? It seems this is quite common these days.

Well it was called Esszeg yes, but the original settlements pre-date medieval times. But yes this was more less a Hungarian town, but Osijek or Esszeg was always multicultural town with Austrians, Croats, Hungarians all living in it. Do you know that Osijek was bigger and the most developed town in whole present Croatia in 18th century? Zagreb was a village for Osijek then... :p

The sea is really beautiful there.

Well no wonder you think all Croats are dark haired. Zadar is the real Dalmatia...no slavs there. Most people are proto-illyrians, proto-greeks or wlachs...still they are Croats...you are what you feel you are. ;)
please stop classifying people
i find it extremely cynical
and dont give excuses what you meant or dont meant
i know nothing was mentioned with bad intentions
but it is very sad hearing people discussing such matters
call me naive call me meek i dont care
just stop
