yes, this was intended in the latest version. I might change it some time later.
Do you miss it?
I liked the system you had had before better--as it is now, the way to prevent rebellions is simply to maintain kp of 5, and there is no tradeoff whatsoever. I don't suppose the AI keeps kp of 5 all the time, so I think this penalizes the AI unduly. I liked your HR1.7 arrangement better.

I Like your Mod, Elvain! The Vanilla is just too easy.Thought I use cheats because I played for Fun! Now I played without cheat in H.R. Rome Mod using Nicaea but has been under pressure (many are declare war) started after 7 minutes game!

If the mod were historically accurate, kingdom power would increase income slightly, I believe. However, it is not good to have such a one-sided effect. I think that the revolt risk modification should be the primary effect of kingdom power (also easier political alliances, etc.) and the monetary aspect should be small. In other words, there should be a small bonus for being low on kingdom power, but not enough to make low kingdom power at all desirable--just a little to balance for the sake of the AI.

This may "dumb" question but are these patches Rome 1.7 or Hard mode or the second patch ok for the US version of KoH?
Holy Rome and HARD are mods, not patches, but HR 1.8 and latest version of mod HARD are compatible with the new patch 1.05 of course
Looks like very good mod, Elvain :go: I gonna start my new career as Lithuanian ruler with your mod now.
I was just wondering about the possibility to fragment Lithuania in Early period. As you probably know, in 1000 AD there was no such country, just Baltic tribes, which fought each other more then cooperated. You've already made Prussia, so, maybe it would be possible to divide the teritory what is Lithuania in Early period to separate tribes, led by dukes? That would be much more real. And as the result, new quest - "Unite Lithuania" could appear.
I could help you with proper province/town/dukes names, if you are interested.
Unite Livonia would be better quest :)
great to see you back, Bagpipe, and thanks for the idea :go:
I always play with this idea and then abandon it when I have no idea how to name it.. Make each province a separate tribe? and how to call the tribe? and how to call the ruler?
if you could help me with the names for Livonians, Kurs and perhaps Ests, it would be great.. and there would be Samogitians in Samogitia, right?
To make every province the separate tribe would be the most authentic (these times even in evey tribe there were a lots of inside tribes, with their own chiefs - dukes). I was thinking a bit and made the following:
Province in the game - my suggestion
Prussia - Tribe of Prussians (or Prussia, but I've chosen the first one to reflect the nature of tribe - not a state yet. Same goes with all following)
Samogitia - Tribe of Samogitians
Vilnus - Tribe of Lithuanians
Courland - Tribe of Curonians (or Courland)
Livonia - Tribe of Latgalians (or Latgala)
Estonia - Tribe of Estonians
or
Prussia - Tribe of Prussians
Samogitia + Vilnus - Tribe of Lithuanians
Courland - Tribe of Curonians
Livonia - Tribe of Livonians
Estonia - Tribe of Estonians
... the first would be more authentic while the second one is simplified.
And about rulers. According to our clasification, their title should be dukes. Now there is no any historical names from such archaic times left, so we would just give them some standart Baltic names.
By the way, these names of Baltic people in the game are very poor. I could make a list of much more authentic names. If there is a possibility to change them, of course.

Can these mods work together Rome 1.7 and Hard Mode or you can just install/play only 1 of them at a time?
Can these mods work together Rome 1.7 and Hard Mode or you can just install/play only 1 of them at a time?
you can install them both, but it will all be kinda messed up as some of files are tweaked in both mods and other only in one, so some files would work only according to one mod and other according to the other...
that would need some ballancing from the user

and yes, Baggy, there is a possibility to edit the names of course, it would be great if you could make the list of them :go:
Here's a great link of livonia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Livonia
These tribes were in there at the time:
estonians, latgals, livonians, votjaks
By the way think it' might be important:
The germans started christening the pagans from the area of livonia.
Kaupo, the king of livonians was fallen in battle of Madisepäev(Madise's day), in that same battle Estonians greatest leader, Lembitu was fallen too, hid head was taken to Riga's town gates.
With the loss of this battle - estonian become the slaves of Christ people.
I made the list of estonian people:

if you want more of them, tell.
Timmo, these are names of men or/and women? I'm joking - its very nice that you could give these Estonian names, coz I dont know any of them (except Lembitu).
Ok, Elvain, here it goes:
Balt men names: Algirdas, Ringaudas, Daumantas, Viestards, Margiris, Skolmantas, Butvydas, Glandas, Glapas, Kestutis, Vytautas, Mindaugas, Danielius, Skirgaila, Vykintas, Manvydas, Vytenis, Karijotas, Liubartas, Parbus, Jaunutis, Vainys, Udrys
Balt women names: Morta, Elena, Barbora, Birute, Austeja, Aiguste, Danute, Ona
These names are mostly Lithuanian (with a couple of Prussian and Semigallian). If you want, I could search a bit more about other tribes.
Also, to make it even more authentic, in High period you could make Lithuanian ruler named Mindaugas and Algirdas in the Late period.
thanks for pointing out, added some more :)
It IS necessarry to add Udrys in the first place.
Some more names.
Men: Algminas, Ruklys, Rupeikis, Tautvilas, Vaisvilkas, Traidenis, Butigeidis, Treniota
Women: Gaudemunda, Laima, Gabija, also Kunigunda
Great, thank you all guys :go:
Another several suggestions concerning map in different periods:
1. Province of Turov shouldn't belong to Poland in 1200. Actually they were never a part of Poland in medieval period but had their own state.
2. Polotsk should be a part of Lithuania in 1350. They were incorporated in 1307.
3. Lithuania should still be Pagan in 1350. Christianization of Lithuania was started only in 1387.
4. There should be war (and at least hostile relationships) as the start setting between Lithuania and Teutonic Order in both periods (High and late).
thanks for your suggestions.
I hope I will have time for it...
apart from school and work there's not much time left and I'm affraid I'd rather spend it on New map...
but I might make an updated version with reverted KP and those mapchanges...
What new map are you working on, Elvain?
