Iam sorry Elvain, to ask stupid question.but here is my question
1) Is jannisaries still locked by you?
2) is they still locked, then how can they be unlocked again??
I asked these question because I really need them.

the janissaries are still locked in the mod. I think it should be easy to unlock them, but I neer tried it so I don't know if it really works
will tell you later
i've just unshelved it!
is there a simple way to determine if u've succeeded installing the Holy Rome mod? does it say anywhere on the screen or any subscreen that u'r playing the mod? cos i'm not convinced i installed it right...
f.e. the map should indicate if you have succeeded (in early there should be kingdoms of Ani and Vaspourakan instead of Armenia or in high there are Ayyubids with Salah ad-Din as sultan instead of Fatimids and Baghdad)
or you can play on hard settings and watch your income. If the green number of your income is much higher than real income the installation should have been successfull

Sorry if this was already asked, but does this affect the original map and/or already saved games? Basically could I still use the original map if I installed this? And would all the features be the same, such as units on the normal map?
hi. Recent version doesn't change the map at all (mapchanges are only about startscreen) but the mod also affects names of provinces and knights as well as the tech tree is changed a little so it might cause problems. Though you can try to reload your saves, but I'd recomend to start new games or wait with installation untill your last game is finnished
what is changed the most is AI's behaviour, province names, income and there are also new units (I don't know how they work with reloaded save)
also KP is canged so if yo uhave +5 don't be surprised your incom may be in red numbers.
If you have any more questions just ask and I will try to help you (as soon as possible)

Thanks, will that apply to the mod that gives you a bigger map (Middle East and Africa I think)? It would be nice if I could simply use the mod as a seperate option and it wouldn't affect the game as a whole.
I don't know yet how will it be if I will extend the map..
If I want to use both mod and mapchanges, which one should I install (replace with the other one) first?
install the mod. The mapchanges are included in it.
Separated mapchangs are only for those who don't want gameplay changes
Hell Elvain! I am back again! Just played some KoH over the weekend, maybe it was my changes done personally or maybe 'normal' difficulty level is still a bit too easy. Either way, great game still!
Yeah, haha I remember Holy Rome 1.7 - you told be to conquer the pagan Pruss as Poland
