I don't see the US patch

OK I know my eye site is failing me but I do not see the US patch listed.
The first one 1.1 is on the list but not 1.2.

Perhaps you could send out emails to the US that don't lie, hm? Or at least have them state certain exclusions, so we don't look forward to nothing. At least that way, you're not slapping your largest potential audience in the face.

Well of course we understand that it is upsetting for the english speaking community that the international version of the patch couldn't be finished in time.
We are of course very sorry about it, but as you say yourself, right now the US community might be the biggest potential one, but as far as I know the current actually biggest community is the german one. Sunflowers is afterall a german company, so naturally the german version of the patch got finished first.
We will provide you with the international version as soon as possible.

aspyr is involved into the US patch. they take a look on the patch first before their approval is given. this causes the delay.

You're side-stepping the issue of not being clear in your emails that the patch was planned for a staggered release. You knew that, but didn't mention it. If you're going to segregate your markets, you may want to consider having separate emails. If you can't do that, then at least be clear from now on. This has happened before.

Both patches were planned to be released simultaniously. The US patch didn't get the final approval in time, that's why it is delayed. There is no issue to be side-stepped.

Bummer. But that's that ok. I am still glad to be getting a patch, even if it is a little late getting to the market (and I don't care who's fault it is). It's kinda funny, for once to see the US market not get a patch first. Usually you see gamers from other countries asking when their patch will be released and the US gamers telling them they just have to be patient and a bit more understanding (and that they still have to wait). The shoe is on the other foot this time. It fits just fine. Looking forward to the patch and thanks for all your hard word. Have a very happy Easter, and may all your eggs be double yoked. :go:

I play other games made my German companies, and the patches are always released first in Europe and then later in North America. Aspyr also handles those games. They seem to be pretty popular with the German game makers.

Anyways, this seems to be pretty standard practice. Although I was looking forward to the next patch this weekend, it's completely understandable and not a surprise. I'm sure we'll get it very soon nonetheless.

On the upside, at least they intended to release all the patches together.

I liked Stronghold Crusader better than Stronghold, and from the comments I have seen about Stronghold 2, it is more like the first Stronghold than the expansion(Stronghold Crusader), so I will pass on it, I didn't really care for the nature of Stronghold itself.

At least Paraworld is another Sunflowers game, that finds its home here at this board!

Well, SF was working very hard - even at the weekend, as i heard :go: - to release the Patch in all available languages, but they couldn't finish the US version fast enough.

But until now, there is no release date for it :sad:
