Sacred Band Infantry

The Sacred Band is the elite infantry of any Carthaginian army and can be relied upon to do their duty to the end. They are equipped and organised in the same fashion as Greek hoplites, with long spears, large shields, breastplates and helmets, and they can use phalanx tactics. This is a style of warmaking that has proved its worth over the centuries. They are drawn from the social elite of Carthage , men of noble and wealthy birth and their loyalty is exemplary. The original purpose of the Sacred Band was to act as an officer corps for the Carthaginian army and an elite force, and to put Carthage above any local loyalties. Opponents have learned that these men are formidable in battle, a linchpin for the entire Carthaginian army!

I finded new editor for making your own battle and so on.
The Editor is very comfoteble to use and you not need to manualy edet any file.

you can run even from zup folder, you dont have to unzip it to game derectory jast on your desctop

With this you can set nember and type of units in your army or your opponets. Your also can chuse for which fanction you going to play: Rome, Gaul or Gartage.
I tried to play for senate but camputar crashed.

The only infantry i the trebia level are archers, skirmishers, barbarian infantry and Poeni Infantry

I have that it is awsome. First i played as gauls against the senat and got my *** wooped cause i didn't know how good each units are. I gave em all week and enemy all powerfull. Then i gave me all cavelry and kicked his ***. i Played on the tutorial map. Then i did romans against romans. Why does my enemy keep moving into the forest?

cork play with cartage and use phalanx formation wait till enemy coms it is realy funny their numbers reduces instantly from 100 to 30

no with sacred band infantry those guys are better then phoeni i think


and if i am correct phoeni infantry cant do phalanx formation

phoeni infantry can do phallanx formation. Also Sacred band is a elite cavalry and infantry in the game, the Roman soldiers arent even that elite id consider them regulars to veteran type status but not elite as the sacred band.

Youll have to wait for Legionnaires to be able to deal with them effectively.

Demo is good but didnt have much but that is ok, since im 90% sure R:TW will come out around Sept. 22nd if not then bummer :yawn:

you know whats fun to do? change it to All roman cavelry on both sides. Then have you men meet the enemy in the middle then charge. it was difficult but i won.
