If in your opinion "Republic" means "Res publica" -> "democracy", "parlamentarian monarchy" hits your point.
Again: See England.

No, You're wrong, mate. State with parliament doesn't mean republic.
You can have either monarch (in monarchy) or president or governor(in republic).
Monarchy can have parliament as in all modern european monarchies, but not president, which is typicaly republican title.

Spain is a parliamentary monarchy with a president of government. Isn't it prime minister? president is usually title of head of state, not boss of the government.

I confirm that we have president, Elewyn. We don't have prime minister. This is cos in the past the monarchy was removed an then restablished. Right now monarchy has no real power in fact.

_1st. Republic (1873-1874) [monarchy removed]

_Military coup of General Serrano suported by monarchy (1974)[monarchy restablished]

_2nd Republic (1931-1936)[monarchy removed]

_Regime General Franco (1939-1973)[monarchy restablished]

PD: We have a Parlamentarian Monarchy which president nowday is Aznar ,for the country, and regional parlamentarian governements (like US states or schotland).
