What do your nicknames mean?

I'm bit disapointed wher turned thread with same name, so I hope this will stay on topic. I'm really curious what some of "our" nicknames may mean.

Example @Jebal.
Hey, man, don't wanna know what does that mean in my language ;)

Hi Emhyr var Emreis

Maybe this topic isen't such a good idea :(........ i.e the last thread (http://forum.sunflowers.de/showthread.php?s=&threadid=322&perpage=25&highlight=nicknames&pagenumber=1) with this topic was closed due to flaming and because it got a little out of hand :(

I know about that thread, but it wasn't closed because of topic, but because of what it turned to.

So, that's why I want everybody here to stay ontopic-explain nicknames and not flame and blame anybody. I'm only curious what those nicknames mean and what they may mean.

My is name of Andrzej Sapkowski's charatcer in Wiedzmin, a fantasy novell, and this character is powerfull and ruthless emperor of great empire of Nilfgaard, which is with its black riders attacking "free, but small" kingdoms of the North.

I'm "The white flame dancing on graves of his enemies"

My name is Jordan Savov (little name - Danny). Calling me Danny, my friends started to call me Dankish few years ago. That's how the story began :). But also is a tradition here in Bulgaria to call people with that name Dankish :). So, nice to meet you guys :).

I took Jebal to represent a name of strength years ago when I learned it from Arabic, where its meaning is "mountain."
Why, what does it mean in your language? :)

*cheers* Oh, very nice! I always enjoy a good fantasy-based nickname.
I'm looking forward to other people's stories, too. :)

Nike

My name is Nikolay, but friends call me Nicky, which is close to Nike (you all know Nike, don't you)!

P.S. Sorry for the other thread, it was my fault that it had to be closed!

Oh, I'm glad you don't know it.
Sorry, but i cannot tell you here, it would be against forum rules...
Yea, it's unpublishable.

I think "mountain" is far better :)

There are far too many people/organisations/things called "Orenda" - it's like the famous needle in the hay-pile.
Anyway, I believe there is no internet in bulgaria, because there was no damn site translating bulgarian language to any common language like english, french, german, italian listed in my google-querry.
