So, it seems someone on this board is sending these things.

I'd rather say that someone who has the email addresses of you and Sunflowers in his address book is sending them - the worm will use one random address for faking the sender's address while the other addresses are used as recipients. ;)

As I never touched the attachments, I cannot say which worm or virus it is, but I know that there are several of them using this procedure to spread themselves...

Should I try to send the e-mail again or can we assume that since Hotmail blocked it to begin with, that they already know about it and will do whatever they do.

Maybe Hotmail blocked me from forwarding the worm and any further attempts to send it would be in vain.

does hotmail has a function to show you the email header?
if they have, you can just copy paste the header here

It seems that either Hotmail automatically deleted the e-mail or the sender had built in protection for himself (if they can do that). It is gone. I can not find it. :(

It seems there is nothing left to do in this matter.
