Absolute freedoms of speach=everyone can say everything=noone should respect anybody else=why should older people be respected?=absurdity and chaos

nah, youŽre mixing things up now :/

freedoms of speach = everyone can state their opinion - in a reasonable way of course.

if somebody started flaming & trolling the forum, heŽd get banned - not because of stating his opinion, but because of flaming & trolling while doing so. the law on freedom of speach is pretty much the same.

The Muslims believe that the only reason for the creation of these caricatures was to offend them. Whether this is right or not, of course, is another question...

flaming is a way of expression of an opinion. When someone starts falming on the forum, he got's banned because he breaks rules which limit us how we are allowed to express our opinions here.

the same with absolute freedom of speech and everything in human society. People make rules=limits to make living with each other easier. Those rules define culture and are defined by the culture so when people from two diferent cultures meet, they can misunderstand each other. This is basic thesis of social antropology

That can NOT be serious? Pff. Lego is amazing. Or is there something evil behind it I don't know about yet?

I noticed that the cartoon business has died out (finally) and already for some time. Good, good.

I'm not sure if this has any connection to the cartoons topic.. maybe I'm totaly dumb.

Radicals should be viewed as radicals, no matter on which side they stand. Once you take radicals as representatives of majority while they are not, the problem is on your side.
And this goes for both sides of the - fortunately forgotten - so called intercultural conflict that was caused and kept alive by medias. It was (radical) media who started it, other (radical) media (connected with religious radicals) disinterpreted it intentionaly and this interpretation was then intentionaly disinterpreted as conflict between 2 civilisations.

We live in post-modern world :go:

there are now more popular problems: Iran A-bomb etc...
