iīve got just one another question ... will there be the possibility to set traps on the battlefield !!! you know like in 'stronghold'
I havn't played Stronghold but are the trap like ambushs?
He means literaly traps. Thats means pits with spikes in it where you can fall in and so on.

yeah and much more would ... in stronghold you could prepare the battlefield with tar so you only have to wait for the enemy and set him on fire ... " enjoy your meal " ... you also could see that in the movie "braveheart" !!!

" Q: So there should be an upper limit to the army's size?
A: That will be exactly in KoH. "
but what will be the max of the max ... please give me a count so i can imagine !!!
and iīve red also that there will be no blood and that dead units just disappear ... hmm iīm no fan of gore but that would be more realistic ... and whatīs about the weapons and armor ... in the past the winner ever collected them from the battlefield ... none the less it was just a thought !!!

i also have to address another question to you, me lords! ... what time will it take to destroy a castlewall with siegeweapons ... because in ancient wars castles were besieged for a long run ... so i hope it will be hard to besiege !!! :bash: ... the more realistic the more "HONOR" ... just like knights of ;)
If I believe what I have read, besiege will be possible only on the strategic map and you will ba able to attack the castle in "fight mode" but there is no possibility to long besiege in this mode. When your castle is under besiege, you can wait on the strategy map or break the siege in "fight mode" but I don't think the fight will be very long... Wait and see!
PS: Sorry for my English, fortunately, I understand better than I speak!

Yess, you pass much more time in the "world-view" than in the fight mode.

Why? There is much more to do than fighting. Diplomacy and espionage for example! :)
Look around the site and read the FAQ and youll see.

Diplomacy, trade and economy are just as well a part of Middle-Ages as battles, perhaps even more. If you dont like them, just stick to your fast-paced RTS games.
