...
Frieden,
When Rebels and Loyalists pop up in my provinces, I try to kill them as fast as possible to avoid my villages being pillaged, or them gaining enough experience to assault my towns.
...

Your way of comparing is very detailed an fine :go:
But please: If I do not build walls I have inflation

Though .. I don't not bother about rebels ... no time for them

I take of nostagy (is this the right english term ?) step by step in each province I took.
Consequence: The rebels disappear theriselves.

The last 3 days I played Venice taking over all countires and i did never fight agianst a rebel (Laudans Mod hard b.t.w.)

Hi Frieden,

You're close .. the correct English word is "nostalgia".

Please explain what you mean when you say "I take of nostalgia step by step in each province I took."

What's your step-by-step method of eliminating nostalgia? Do you adopt the population, wait until the nostalgia disappears on its own, or something else?

Well ..I usually start with one country.
Right in the beginning I take a prayer (right term this time  ) and convert the population of the conquered country as soon as possible.

As soon as I have 1000 books I bring the prayer up to level 2 (= 2 stars) and so on until he has 5 stars.
Then I get 5 books if the prayer is in a town.
Plus churches, universities ...
After this I convert the 1st county.
The nostalgie (thnak you :go: ) is already at 700 or 800.
If the rebels attack they skill my knight

Afterwars I place the prayer in each now town i've conquered and converts the population at 1000 books usually

Ah .. ok .. we are saying the same thing.

In German, the priest is "Kleriker", while in English it's "Cleric" or priest.

When you say "convert", I think you mean "adopt the population" ("adoptiere belvolkerung") instead of change their religion ("konvertiere belvolkerung").

So we do the same thing
