Euro 2004

Let's proceed with football.
CHAMPIONS - ITALY.
Look at players they have: Totti, Vieri, Del Piero, Inzaghi, Buffon and etc.
They are Euro 2000 2nd place holders (not champions, by mistake:angry:)
They have the strongest keague in the world(my personal opinion).
They played poorly in World Cup 2002, and now should have a great wish to prove their class.

DEFENCE IS A KEY TO SUCCESS!

I also like Germany. Well, Czechs should be counted as favourites too, because there plays my favourite player - P. Nedved;) and many other great players.

Well, I must agree with you. Defensive football sometimes ****s, especially when strong defensive-based teams are playing against a little bit weeker opponents. Even then players use unnecessary defensive tactics when they could easily squash their rivals 3-0 or 4-0. BUT when, let's say, Italy and France meets on a pitch, fans usually have a great pleasure to watch massive atacks (collapsing to defensive wall;)), quick counteratacks. In a game like this, atmosphere is always very hot. For me, it's very interesting to watch a football match when you are "forced" to set your eyes on a pitch, when every goal can decide everything. Is it more interesting to watch one team leading over the other 4-0? Well, I don't think so :nono:
