Marshall bonus, when you upgrade your marshall 'tactics' skill to level 3, I 'd like to have a palissade wall around the camp -instead of towers alone- if you fortify. This gives a realistic and better defense instead of mentioning that your bonus is increased by +50%. This can't be difficult to add in a patch, I think.

Frujin,

I would like to know if its possible to add a Door to the Keep. The reason I ask is the Keep can be attacked when you have no outer walls and its very unrealistic to retreat back into your last line of defence only to have an open door that you cant close! lol

In Lords of The Realm2 their keep had a door that only knights could hack down. Since ANY of your units can hack the doors, would it be possible to add a door to the Keep? I really feel it would add to gameplay. And if the Bonus is a problem I say remove the Bonus in the keep and just add a door. That would really be nice to fall back after the outer walls have been breached and hold off in the main keep. Thats one area that was a problem for Stronghold. Keep had no door.

Also is there any way to zoom out a little in Battlefield view? What I mean is to make the battle field smaller so I can see more of the battle going on? I know about the Zoom out completely.

Thank you again, I really hope you can answer my questions, I did go through alot of effort to get the game here in the USA. $80

I had some trouble getting the game too, I played the demo to death. Over all i thought it the most promising in this genre for a long time. Pity there is no random or alternate maps. Like in the civilisation games. Also doesnt seem to be a lot of choice in the single player solo vs computer quick battles

In Australia when I asked abou tthis game in the computer game shops they had no idea what i was talking about. So I just bought it from Gameplay. They sent it out in within the week for 30 quid.

So if your in America and you want it, try an international order. $80 US is madness. :silly:

Would still like addressed:
builder/farmer knights- currently no real value to using them. Not really.
economy- there's too much food and too much money, too many books, and too much piety.

Too many books? You have to tell me how you manage that.

Some changes I think should be made are. AI agrees to peace more quickly, and easily, especially on your demands, when it has lost alot of provinces to you. Or is in a weak state, or when you are in a more superior state.

They don't declare war on a whim. I find it odd that a 1 province nation would declare war on me because someone paid them to when I have 52 provinces.

I would like to ask for one bug to be removed.

My marchal, marching at my territory is being shot by enemy fertified camp at his territory. How is this posible when my marshall shold be invisible for him?

What about: If the enemy captures one of your marshalls and you have a spy in the enemy's royal court you can ask the spy to help the marshall escape, at night this has a bonus.

* Add the capital city: appointing a city to be capital city you give the city a happiness bonus of +5 because the people are pround to live there, but when the capital city is conquered this results in an kingdom power drop and happiness drop of - 10.

*Add a dungeon -you can only build 1 in your capital city - with following options:

- Torture prisoner (If you don't know which country has sent him.)(included)
- Execute prisoner (logic and already included)
- Promote prisoner (release the captured marshall and add him to your royal court, so that he'll fight for you, the chance that he deserts is very big if you are losing the war with the country that he originally was working for.)
- Release prisoner 1: (releasing the prisoner improves your relation with the prisoner's country and the country's allies)
- Release prisoner 2: (release the captured marshall, he returns to his original country and tries to cause some rebellion, the more powerful your country and the less powerful the infiltrated kingdom the more chance you have that the marshall obeys you and doesn't desert.)
- Kidnapping (when your spy infiltrates a country and he is idle you can kidnap a member of the royal family and flee to your city with dungeon.)

One more option: Marry your king's daughter to a country and give her the command to poison the enemy or allied prince or king. This doesnt result in a kingdom drop because it happens unnoticed.

dungeon would be very good idea and it has all my support.

I would also like to point out so discussed problem of farmers doing their work while a battle's all around...

some other ideas for diplomacy:
- possibility to exchange land. Some level of relation would be required of course and at least trade agreement (or better-pact of non-agression) necessary.

then some possibility of inner trade (food for example). Not for free and the price would depend on distance between the locations f trade.

and as I suggested smewhere else:
- a cleric-pope shold be able to ask some other kingdom to engage a crusade.

EDIT:

and also randomisation of province features shold be limited a little. In a way of giving certain provinces that were famous by some "province feature" higher probability of having them.
Like e.i. in Hispania, Hungary and russian planes it should be more probable to have pasture
marble deposits in "mountain" provinces of Italy, Spain, Alps, France, Greece and Asia minor, as well as Scandinavia
fertile soil: not very big chance in the desert and in northern areas
silver deposits: very probable in Bohemia and Moravia, Hungary, Alpine regions etc.
and so on
I guess it would eliminate problem of playing for Golden horde and being forced to import horses.

Also province of Epir is very strategical and it should have a seaport, as well as Sinope (Sinope was a famous harbour and here there is no possibility to board a ship there!!) at least, give them coastal village, please

This game is by far, the best game I have seen in a long, long time. It can only get better with the excellent support that seems to be in place!

BSS are NOT working on an add-on at the moment, and they will not do so unless the staff from SunFlowers decides that it is appropriate for an add-on to be released. There are contracts and there are money. You can't expect to engage a team of 17 men in coding somehting for six months without someone paying for this. And pay someone will, only if there is a profit in this. The game is already released. For the six months of development the sales will not be high if thereare any at all, and I guess that none will work over a patch that will bring no profit.

indeed, Is there enough money for an expansion? Has this game been sold alot ? If I look at this forum, with so few members and posts in comparison with other game forums, I say no.

Well the game is quite recently released for the forum to have many members and it is not a block-buster as AOK or StarCraft or any other RTS. Just the people playing this type of game are not teh usual RTS gamers, but yes, you're right at this point.

I hope you don't think that this game is an instant classic. The community will not increase very much.

as I know in the capital of the Czech rep(IMO it means 60-80% of Czech games' buyers) this game was sold out in 2 weeks after release with no chance to get it legally in a shop!
