You should click on the "Royal Library" button in-game. It's second or third from the left...

"Pasture" is a province feature. A province can anywhere from 0 to 3 province features, mostly randomly determined at the start of the game. The only way to build buildings that require the "Pasture" province feature is to build them in provinces that have "Pasture" as a province feature. Enter the Political Map and select the "Province Feature" filter to see what provinces have which province features.

Regarding King's fertility:
I'm not sure whether it's a mere coincidence or not. But as far as I've exprienced, a King who used to be a skillful courtier tends to father more children than who ain't.

Hi, Snydens

first, welcome on the boards!

to call for jihad you need to click at halfmoon icon on the right top corner, you'll see your kingdom piety window and there, in left part of window, you can click at icon to call for jihad. :knight:

I think he's saying that if the King is a highly skilled/educated knight (whatever his profession), he has more kids than one isn't educated or skilled. Basically, king + books = babies?

Heh! Maybe one of those books is the Kama Sutra!

I been doing well with Italy conquering many provinces and command a strong armies. My king was a cleric and got killed while he was doing conversion.I got lucky as his bro took over with no problem.I married this new king off as early as possible but he failed to get a prince. When he died,a cleric took over and soon many rebels all over the nation.I lost few conquered provinces. These provinces are heavily fortifed.I was like fighting against my own men.I managed to get this under control and start rebuilding my armies. Now the bad luck starts.Revolt after revolt that I am losing alot of troops from rebeling marshals.I dont know but I got a five star spy in my court but maybe he himself is a spy.Few times,I try to rebuild but keep getting revolt and my armies gone.

Now I am not concern about spy in my kingdom. The problem is the mass destrcution once your king died with no prince.I dont think it is the spy problem because I am having no problem when I got a rightful king. The problem kicks in once the king died with no heir. This happen twice after I paid so much attention building up a strong nation. Then everything is ruined.

My apology if this is too long but I want to make it more detail so I can get all the help available here.

Thank you for any nice tips to solve this problem.

Augustus Illuminatus has already said what I'm going to say.
Yes, King(any occupation from cleric to spy) + Books or King + War records = more princes.
Haha..yeah books that are produced in your provinces may be the Kama Sutra!

My king is experienced cleric (3), spy (3) and builder (1), also he is at level 4 as marshall, but he's venerable now and still childless.

So, as I said many times before:
making princes is random and it's not afected by anything

maybe he'll make some princes as venerable(that already happened about 2 times to me), but every "sure" way how to make king potent has proven to be a dream :(

I have a question about spy:
What are those ratios when you click on your spy and choose an action(e.g. assassinate king 30/100)
I suppose that they are possibilities or experience of the spy?! :bash:

Welcome to the forums, szemawy! :go:
The values correspond to the chance of being revealed and the chance of failure during the mission. The more experienced the spy the better his chance of success.

When there is a counter-spy at the enemy court the chances of success are much lower. Check the rumours once your spy is at the enemy court. Chances are high that your spy will report about an enemy counter-spy there. :go:

I have always 1000 books and max trained cleric and spy and rest of my spots are marshals. Is there any way for me to use those books somehow? I can't seem to put them into marshals.

If I have specific building/feature in one provice (to produce something for kingdom advantage), is it still worth it to build it in other province? Do I get any bonus for it?

Go conquer some provinces with different religions and conversions will gobble up some.

If all you want/need is a trade good, than constructing a building in multiple provinces isn't useful. If the building is a prerequisite for another (i.e. Cathedral/Holy Mosque needs several buildings other than Church), and all the prerequisite buildings can be built in some provinces, but not others, than, yes, it is worth building that building again. Click on the "Royal Library" tab in-game. It's second or third from the left.

You mean adoption, right?

@Werdna
books: 1)send a cleric to provinces that were not yours from the beggining and adopt population. Btw I must say you must be very happy. I always need more books than I have
2)call your prince as spy and make him lern to some degree...then he could protect your court and the other spy can be sent to some mission "in abroad"

buildings:no, you won't have any bonuses from it. Only money(if there are some from it)

Hey I read from other thread that I can resurrect Byzantia when I play as Trebizond.
I've unified Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa but nothing has happened yet.
Isn't it possible for a Trebizond user to resurrect Byzantia if I started in Late Medival entry?
