Does anybody have any questions that they need answered about the game, I have had the game for about two months now an I can basically answer any questions that you all might have about the game. And another thing for people that have or have played the game do you know who is better the steepe cavalry or the mongolian cavalry because I really can't decide?
Steppe horsemen, because u can use them for more than 1 kingdom. In all other (1 :D) cases, mongolian cav. is better

Thanks anyway but actually Steepe Cavalry is better because they have better stats. When you go to battle and click on a unit they show you their stats and thats what I did and Steepe cavalry have bigger stats than mongolian cavalry in both melee combat and ranged combat.
I have some questions:
1.Is the only way to get gold is to "trade for gold" with other countries and if it is than how to increase my income.
2.How to get book.I build a church and i'm geting only 1+ book.I cant educate my knights.
3.Can you tell me some basic strategy in battle.
Sorry my english is not so good.

1. You also get taxes from your population. Tax output can be raised with buildings like the Taxcollector's Office, Market, Habrour, Admirality, etc.
You can hire as many Merchants as you want (up to 9, of course). That should solve all your financial problems if you make trade agreements with the big nations...
2. Build more and more churches. Build a scribe and a university.
3. Search a hill near you starting position. Position your infantry in a line on this hill. Leave enough room between the melee-fighters for your archers. Place the archers directly behind the melee-fighters. Place your cavalry at the flanks of this formation.
When the enemy approaches, move your archers forward and fire arrows at the enemy. When the enemy comes too near, draw the archers behind the melee fighters and let the enemy run up the hill (that exhausts them). Do not fire arrows it the enemy when your own melee fighters are near. You will kill your own men.
When the melee-fighting has begun look at the minimap and look out for enemy-squads that try to flank you. If there are none, move your own melee-fighters forward and attack the enemy army from the sides, slowly encirculating them.
Use your cavalry to harass any vulnerable squads (like archers standing alone without support, or melee-fighters that try to flank your army) or intercept heavy infantry/cavalry that would cut down your melee-fighters.
If the enemy tries to flank your army, either use your cavalry to drive them back or commit one or two infantry-squads.
If your mens morale drops, let your marshall engage in combat for some seconds. That will improve your troops morale and make them fight longer. Immediately withdraw your marshall after the morale-bonus is applied to keep him from suffering losses. You could also attack the enemy marshall and cut down some of his guards (for instance with longbow archers), which will demoralize the enemy's troops.

Thanks for that. But i have more questions.
1.I started playing with Zeta(Serbia)and i have 5 types of warriors.Pesants, basic archers(dont know their name),axeman, spearman and a special unit cavlary somthing that starts on P..
The problem is that i can upgrade flatchery or any other military building but i cant get beter units.
ubits are pre-defined for certain provinces. You can see all possible units at the begginig of the game.
each unit in KoH is separate unit, not upgraded as it was in Age of Empires.
So heavy swordsmen are not upgraded swordsmen, heavy archers are not upgraded archers, feudal knights are notu upgrade of light cavalry, they are separate units.
So by building certain buildings you can ONLY ENABLE yourself to buy unit you can see. If you don't have any unit that requires plate armourer, you won't change it by building plate armoury.
To get "better units", look at political view, click at helmet icon and find unit you want, you'll see where it is available and then conquer it :go:
thanks that is what i want to know.

1. With the limited selection of units* in the demo, my military strategy (or lack thereof) is usually units of all one type, 9 units per Marshal, two Marshals at a time (best units being Feudal Knights). Simple and almost always effective, but I guess I'm wasting half of my marshals.
*Producible units include: Highlanders, Swordsmen, Archers, Light Cavalry, Feudal Knights, Slavonic Axemen, Slavonic Bowmen, and Peasants. Mercenary units include: all of the above, Spearmen, Desert Spearmen, Saracens, Horse Archers, Bowmen, and Desert Archers plus maybe one or two more units that I've forgotten
2. Could you give me a list of all Kingdom unique units? I know about the Political Map filter that shows what units are produced in each province, but there usually isn't a way to figure out the Kingdom unique unit based on that information.
1.How do you keep all your territores under control when you dont have enough marchals.

Increase the happiness in your province(s).
You can do that by having a 4*+ Cleric as Governor, the "Spring Festivals" Kingdom Advantage, killing all rebels and loyalists, being at war with as few countries as possible, winning battles in the province, increasing kingdom power, building a Winery, an Inn, or a Hostel. I think that's it.
I've got couple of Qs:
1. What cleric's "adopt population" does ?
2. My cleric is pope. Marshalls' "crusade" button is greyed out. How can I start a crusade?
3. I have a trade agreement with country X. Is country X getting a trade bonus even if I do not sent a merchant?
4. Anyone playing online ? How is it ?
I am not expeienced player but i tryed playing online i have to tell you that its very good.I have 56k modem and the only problem is (i've been playing this with 5 more players) that when you want to move your units there is lag betwen but not exactly lag (your game isnt freezeng) only 2-3 seconds before units takes action.

1. it kills nostalgia
2. you need to have 1000 piety first
3. not sure if I understood well. You have no bonuses just from signing a trade agreement, you need to send a merchant to trade
4. I don't know. My comp is really slow so I can't afford to play MP

1.Adopt Population removes all Nostalgia for that province.
2. I have no idea
3.No. They don't even get a trade bonus even if you send a merchant to them. They just send their merchants to you, and you don't get bonuses for that either.
4. I try, but there is never anyone on.
I need PEASTURE required for some builings but i can't build it or find it.Can some1 tell me how to get it.
How can I import exotic goods? I have built admirality and have a merchant, but noone to import from.
When I look at Political View/Goods, noone is shown as having any exotic good.

Welcome to the forum, Werdna! :go:
To import exotic goods select the town with the admirality, click the golden anchor near the lower center and select the good to import.
I hope that helps.

I have a question for you guys. I know there has been a lot of discussion about how to make your king more "fertile". I do find he is more likely to have a child when he is a cleric but the question I have is this. From your gaming experience what does king have to be to become a happy father? for example an idle spy or a working cleric or just sitting home with mrs. ?
:bconfused
look my question about PEASTURE i have to know the answer.I cant continue game without this.
