Regarding to clerics, there is one another problem I think. It may happen that on the map will not be any kingdom with different religion, so it will be impossible to reach 5th star by cleric.
Thank you Elvain and Angryminer for your mods. It's really hard now, especially for small kingodom like Cyprus. I'm using both HR and GoG and appreciate work you have done. In my opinion computer has too much freedom and he don't know how tu use it correct that's why winning with him isn't so hard as it should be. Also making game too predictable will kill fun, so searching balance between these two, would partialy solve the problem.
About unit in battle view:
I've written it in another topic some time before but if anyone want to make his "new" unit viewable in battle screen, just do not change paths for files in 'my_unit.unit'

When I try to open the files, i get an 'Cannot open file: it does not appear to be a valid archive' error, what can I do to solve this?
(downloading the files again won't work)

Try to use new WinRar but I don't know what exactly is your problem. I will write about what has happend to me when I've download zipped files, maybe it helps. After extracting packed files only one files appeared, so I run WinRar once more and selected new object. Then just extracted it and all was fine.

Great mod!!!
But behind every rulers titel is writen ':cap', for example: king:cap, emperor:cap
And behind the character traits of the ruler is writen ':small', for example: greedy:small, grateful:small
Where and how can i chance it?

Extracting 'text.pak' or 'europe.pak' by PakMan to original directories should fix the problem. If not, try another *.pak. Pay attention to not replace existiing files, because this will crush the mod. Or replace all stuff and then install mod again. PakMan could be found somewhere on this forum.
I'm not sure about this solution but...

You're fantastic, the problem is solved again! :hello:
Let's drink to your wisdom  , o, almighty Kakita Matesu
you need to download at least 2 parts of the latest version of my mod to make it work properly. Unfortunatelly there is so many things added that it can't pe uploaded as one .zip only.
HR1.2defs.zip and HR1.2maps are both definitively necessary
link (http://forum.sunflowers.de/showthread.php?p=91268#post91268) to the exact post with the latest yet version
if you have enough space I would recomand unpacking all paks that are changed in my mod and just copy (and rewrite certain files) into certain directories. It works much better. But you need more space
PS: I'm happy to please you by my mod
PPS: I'm sorry that there is such delay in next edition of HolyRome. It's caused by too many work in the outer world. I hope I'll finish testing and fixing bugs tomorrow(wednesday) evening. If not I'll do everything to give it to you untill friday noon CET

I wouldn't....not even close...
Pressburg will, and already is, be renamed to Transdanubia. Nitra....well Carpatia is just a stupid name....but you are right and I knew that, still as I said Carpatia is a very stupid name. I checked some maps and I found out that Hungarians called it with even more stupid name - Maramos....so I'll probably just get back to Carpathia.
I've been lurking around on the forums for while but feel I needed to register to write a little something. Finnalech... sorry. It is fair to delete passage that contains personal discussion between you and Finellach.
This has not personal reasons, but it was requested and is fair for both sides. I hope it won't influence your presence on this forum. You are still welcome.
Thanks for understanding, Elvain

Hello, Carolingian_waffle!
:hello:
Welcome on the forums, Carolingian_waffle! :go:
Interesting what you have written, thanks for it and for registering. I hope you will be another good member of our forums.
You said what you said, you have right for it. What I think about it is not as important as fact that I don't want any discussions about personal qualities in these forums. I recomand you to send this post to Finellach via PM.
If the discussion of your or Finellach's (or anybody elses) personal qualities will emerge here and may overshadow the topic - my mod, all off topic posts are gona be deleted.
I don't want this thread to be ignored by normal members because of personal discussion.
Thank you
Finellach

You should have edited his post as well especially since it contains offensive remarks. Thank you.
satisfied?
PS I would like to ask you to deny any connection between my mod and your problems with uniting kingdoms. It definitely can't be caused by it, since files that influence it are not part of my mod.
Thanks in advance

I already adressed this issue in another thread.
I have satisfied you (even if I deleted what I agreed with) but you didn't yet
I hope you'll be fair too.
