Frujin?
I tried to find all realms (capitals) in minimap of Burgundy (http://www.knights-of-honor.net//english/screenshot.php?screenshot=0126&all=0128|0127|0126|0125|0124|0123|0122|0121|0120) screenshot.
The final number is somewhere between... 165 and 170!!! How close I am?
my point was - that developers obviously have put a lot of forests in Lithuania - which is right.
So I just wanted to point out that forest be placed in the right place.....

The exact number of provinces is: 168

Wow, a long long game will come...:)
There is another way to win. You don't have to conquer all 168 provinces to win the game. You can manage to be "elected" or just "claim" to be Ultimate Emperor of Europe!

*EDIT* great option, I really like it :go:

Yes, really good option, so it will be the following way:
I conquer 167 provinces and the lord of the last one has to elect me...:king:
nope. I'll be elected just holding my two realms, Bohemnia and Moravia :D
No, there are elections which happens regularly and the rulers of the most powerful kingdoms are voting for one of the two most most powerful. You can vote as well if you are great power as well. Also, if you are amongst the most strong, you can claim that you should thake the ultimate title. Of course, this causes the other rulers of the great powers to vote for or against you.
@Elewyn: it is not possible to be "great power" with only two provinces - unless ALL others are shrinked to 1 or 2 provinces :)

If you say regulary, so f.e. all 2 hours will be an election or how does it work?

Sweden is in, dont worry:D
After all, Europe will be devided into more than 100 realms. So I guess one for everyone:cool:
Donīt forget Austria and the Babenberger!
Remember Duke Leopold of Austria who imprisoned Richard Lionheard.

Like Kuno I must ask, what "regulary" means? everytime after a while there will be some kind of council which will try to vote Ultimate Emperor of Europe?? (UEE :))
btw this tempted me to this question. Can a kingdom of f.e. 5 realms be a vassal of a kingdom of 4 realms? :)
PS: I realized one realm is missing in my counts :( Frujin? Is Isle of Gotland seperate realm? I would like to complete my list of realms and capitals, because map seems to be completed now and I think we may fix all realm/capital mistakes. just before my time of exams come :)

hmm, austria was a part or a "vassal" of the hre, so its no playable kingdom - at least in early and high period. afaik. in late period its playable. again - afaik. they did not forget it!

Yeah I saw it was there in one entry period, the point is however, Sweden shouldn't be Danish in any of the entry periods. Especially not in the early period. I'm not refering to the political map screen but to the Kingdom selection II screen as it seems to be before a game starts.
Try to look at this screenshot (http://www.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/knightsofhonor/screens.html?page=109) you see Sweden is in afterall :) - a great map btw, just as it was "meant" to be :D ( as seen from a danish POV - i know... but i can't help myself :D:D )
However, i'm NOT satisfied about they have chosen not to include the island of Funen on this map - i know that we danes are notorious for building bridges all over the place, BUT we have yet to build a bridge spanning aprox. 100 kilometers ( 62.13 miles ) which would cover the distance from Jutland all the way across the island of Funen ( which they have left out ! ) to Zealand !
I also think my Scandinavian brother her would like to see the island of Gothland !

Frankish Empire ceased to exist almost 100 years before the first entry point in KoH. ;)
