"What is Elite 5?"

Elite 5 is the fifth title in Elite series. Elite 5 is just a working name - the final version will be called something far more exciting. Elite was first released during the 1980s. Elite 2 (Frontier Elite 2) and Elite 3 (Frontier First Encounters) followed in the 1990s. Elite 4 is currently being developed by Frontier Developments. Elite 5 is just a rumour. We appear to have started. Oops.

So far we have guessed:

• Release Date: Autumn 2010, or there abouts.
• Tagline: The long awaited sequel to the best selling game ever, Elite 4.
• Operating System: All of them; even BeOS.
• Minimum System Specification:
  • Pentium 13 @ 64GHz (128GHz for Windows version)
  • 5D video card with 16Gb memory (32Gb for Windows version)
  • 5D-headset
  • catheter tube
  • inertial displacement chair ^(TM)
  • MS-compatable neural interface widget
  • modem
  • space madness pills (one per day).
