Some news from BSS

Greetings from sunny Sofia,

I would like to shed some light on the past and, possibly, on the future of KoH. First of all, Black Sea Studios always wanted to do KoH 2, but unfortunately that was not possible, as we did not own the rights for the game. In the last tree years we worked with different publishers on different undisclosed projects, as well as on our technology. But finally, as a part of our agreement with Sunflowers about the second patch, we bought the Knights of Honor rights back. And now Black Sea Studios is the solely owner of the brand.

Currently, we have a game in developement, which will be announced very soon (I hope you will like it as much as you liked KoH, since we are true to our motto - games are about gameplay and fun!). Also, we are redoing our website these days, and we are about to open our forums sooner than you expect, this time much more seriously!

Will there be Knights of Honor 2? :)
I wouldn't promise anything and I wouldn't create any expectations, but I can say that we did not bought the rights back for nothing! I hope this post will answer some of your questions ...

Wow, dear goodness! The sun is indeed shining not only over Sofia and BSS's office (and Gameloft Bulgaria's too), but over the whole KoH population! That's indeed great news, Frujin! I can't wait till you open your forums again! And till you tell us more about your new project! And till KoH 2 appears somewhere in the future!

Btw, now that you hold the rights, are you planning on a Bulgarian localization of KoH? :wink:

At least some good news! Thank you Frujin! Great to hear that BSS is not affected by current things going on about Sunflowers. And it is great to see that the KoH-community can find a new home if this one should be closed.
