Nope, never been there. And you? Can you recommend it? Is it there where you come from?

Yes, I'm originally from Slovakia,
75% of our country is hilly, so we have about 9 national parkls and about 30 good ski-centers, the famous are in high or low tatra mountains,
never heard about it?
nice sunday :hello:

My weekend consisted of a lot of geography. I'll do my last test on tuesday and then I'm ready to recieve my "Abitur" (Abitur is slightly related to american high school grade, but a bit higher).

northern Wales is very beautifull (but I know it in summer) The mist (or clouds) hides the hills rising up from the sea. But I think hat winter gives some other spell to this beautifull hilly coast
I love the mountains of northern Wales and the roads in valleys between them with wooden walls on both sides... it's simply beautifull

oh , that sounds beautifull ! Is it a kind of Iceland (if u ever been there , or seen pictures)? Oh , and one more important thing , is it snow there now?

Elvain

I've seen only pictures of Iceland...
Wales is, say, more soft. Nature there is nice but ot so "cruel" not so stony, much more grassy green, with lots of castles like Caernarvon, Conwy etc.
Also on the isle of Angelsey there is a town tith very long name:
LLnafainr-Pwllgwyngyll-Gogerychwyrn-Drobull-Llan-Tisilio-Gogogoch (maybe I misspelled some letters, sorry for that, but who can remember that )

PS: Due to fact that in Britain there's not much snow, I doubt there is some... but ask some English ?smile:
PPS: important. This is NORTHERN Wales, really beautifull, but industrial southern Wales around Cardiff is something very different.
