The Czechs played what I expected and Sweden punished them for it...
I really hoped they will try as they did against Slovakia. But they disapointed me. It's sad to watch such good team playing that ****ing hockey. Maybe against Russia they will have more motivation...

I don't know what they want more to be motivated than Olympic semi-finals.

Finns are surprise, nice surprise, to be honest. I don't like Russians but they played the best hockey from the 4 last teams, so I hoped for them. Now I hope for Finland. Swedes didn't play nothing special in the first half of match (untill they led 5:1) nut still they were way better than Czechs. The rest I haven't seen as I was too disgusted to watch that crappy performance from Czechs

It was way more interesting then semis, IMO. Congrats with gold, Sweden:cheers: Finland also performed very well, in fact I supported them in the final. They gave enormous pressure in teh last minute, but that didn't help. I think both teams were worth final.

And how could I forget... With bronze, Czechs!

 Congratz to Sweden  from me too

btw.. Czechs played one match in the entire Olympics, the quater finals. Maybe they were motivated only for this match as it was against Slovaks who were the best team in the prelimnary part.

btw, I have heard the reason of Czech's bad play during the olympics.

The players were in arguments. The couch had NO authority and some players tried to support him while the rest of the team opposed.

Well, it just proves that I wasn't far from true, I just thought that couch had no authority and the team play had no order (what was more than visible). They just standed together when Vladimír Růžička (manager of Slavia Prague and couch in Vienna WC last year when we won again, respected authority of Czech/oslovakian hockey) came to Turin.

Team without unity can't perform anything. They need a leader and the leader must have some natural authority and respect what is fact that Hadamczyk lacks. even when he led Sparta prague, his own players made jokes on him! They didn't just oppose, what happens when you disagree with somebody, they made jokes on him.

yet there is nothing interesting at all.

Except one match all favourites easily smash all underdogs. The championship starts in next matches when "favourites" meet in their groups and underdogs fight to stay in the Championship for next year..

IMO it's not even fun to watch those matches. I saw first period Czech rep. vs. Austria and it was terrible. Austrians trying their best and Czechs playing on 50% and the result was 6:1 eventhough our team has no stars at all and I don't even know 1/3 of the team. Once the favourite scores the fun ends

yes, but sometimes surprices happened, e.g. Can: Ger only 3:2 and decision just prior the end..
