Yeahh, and the result of the game was 2 - 2 - just like predicted, however the game's result was not due to foul play !

Well, next time we shall meet Elewyn's team and that's a bit scary IMO, because they play really great.

Let me ask all of you a question: Do you think that Sweden and Denmark colluded for the draw yesterday? I will not ask for the UEFA management cuz it's obvius what their reaction will be - Lennart Johansson is not Italian.

I usually don't like that conspiracy crap, so I'll be interested in your opinion! And I post it here cuz it's a thread for EURO 2004 and I dont' want to open a new thread. :cheers:

i think it was fair game. When Denmark led 2:1 they had at least one serious chance which was very close to be goal and it was more than evident that the striker WANTED to score. If nothing else, this chance shows if it was or wasn't corrupted.

Of course it was a fair game! I don't get how these conspiracy talk can be taken seriously, maybe if you say it enough times it becomes true...
I guess the Italians have a tradition of foul play so that they take for granted that everybody else is doing it to...

It's definately not fixed...it's just coincendance. To fix such a result is extremly hard. I mean you gather your firends on the playground and make an agreement that you will finish the game 5:5 f.e.

I am sure the result won't be 5:5 ;)

it is possible, but everybody who would watch the game will become bored, because it would be more than evident. It's impossible to make agreement of exact result and get that result, because there are many aspets in sport. Luck is one of them. You can make an agreement but when one side have no luck, thay can't score withuot opponent's evident help. This was not a case of game Sweden Denmark

My sympathies with Germans. They tried hard, but had no luck.

To be honest, Dutch deserved to get through more than Germans. From this perspective it is fair.

Btw guys, did you know that about 53,5% of all italians believe that Denmark-Sweden was fixed? And Italy's national coach was the only from the team, who addmitted that the match proberly wasn't fixed?

oh... of yourse, Ruud scored only twice. I just had feeling he scored the third goal before getting it was Makaay. But when writting that post I was in kinda extasy from the victory of our B-team, that I forgot it :)
