I guess France will make it this year again.

i am no soccer fan at all. but i know a soccer song from germany that maybe could turn frank against me:
that would in this case:

"ohne holland fahr`n wir zur EM! ohne holland,..." :D

but to be honest i dont care who is winning as long as the best team wins. so if lichtensetin would win, i would also be fine :)

Wait, wait, wait... could you translate it to English? Not everyone of us can understand German:)

Well, I think you'll have to wait a bit more for the generation with new Stoichkov, Kostadinov, Balakov or Lechkov to achieve this:) Don't find it offensive:D

Btw, new Euro2004 site has been launched yesterday. Looks really nice. Take a glance: Euro 2004 (http://www.euro2004.com)

There aren't many English in Arsenal:D

BTW, Brasil doesn't participate in EC, coz it isn't European country. Simple...

France, Portugal and Italy that are the teams that have the biggest chance of winning the cup. Maybe Germany or Spain will get in the final but most chance will be a final between France and Portugal if not Italy. I'm dutch, but if you look at the dutch team you will understand why i didn't choose them ;)

Spain should be there. As far as I know they never won anything, but they ever played and now play very nice football for audience. Not that horror of German buldogs-not-footballists or Italian defence

Hey, mate, be careful speaking in such manner about two teams I'm dying for:angry:

Better count, how many times World Cup was won by italians or germans and how many by your "attractive-for-audience" spanish?

IMHO, a team which only plays to please spectators and never pass a quarterfinal stage having such outstanding players, shouldn't be named as favourites of any competition.

I personaly watch football for good game (that's why I watch more Premier league than our czech league), not to see boring game with 3 shots on goal.

But if my team loss, I become very angry, ofcourse!!

Wrong! Teams that play to spectate the people will get a lot of support among people and naturally the people will see that 'showoff' team as their favorite. Not some boring team that does reach the final but that is so boring to watch that no one will like them.

I think most people prefere Spanish, English, Dutch and French (and Brasilian, ofcourse) football to German Italian (and sometimesd also Czech :(-when defeated France last year)

You are right in many aspects, of course.

But I love watching Italian and German teams, I know their players best, I supported them from early childhood, admired Baggio and Klinsman playing, and I am not used to change my favourite teams every year:viking: like some people do.

It means, if for ex. Owen will start scoring bycicle-goals from middle of the pitch every premier league match, I won't become an English supporter:nono:

In games like football I have favourites, like forever my favourite teams, but also if some team plays very well some time I like to watch them and if they defeat my favorites, I'm not so sad because I know they're better.

So when Sparta Prague lost against Milan, I didn't mind it (even if I don't like them.... brrrr Bayern and Milan are teams I like the worse), because it really was better for quality to have AC Milan in quarter-final than Sparta.

But ofcourse national team is more about emotions, with little nationalism inside.
But even if I prefere "protestant" nations of european north to "catholic" nations of south, I like Spanish football team, but really dislike the German (no ofence)

So the Czechs, the French, the English, the Spanish and the Dutch are my favourites with deep respect to Italian master-tactique and German :bash: damn...the word :bash: "buldogness" :D

Yes. I can't wait, I can't wait...:bash:

BTW, ROBERTO BAGGIO or "divine ponytail" have played his last match in Italian team last wednesday. IMO he was one of the most talented footballer for the last 10-15 years, and one of my favourite. Sad not to see him in Azzuri again:(

So, Greatest respect to ROBERTO BAGGIO:king:
