Hey People do you realise that they missed the most important FIX the one that I've mentioned many times
THE BUILDER AND THE LANDLORD ARE STILL USELESS ( I was hoping they would fix them tha was the most important because ... What is the Knights of Honor without their Knights

Hey People do you realise that they missed the most important FIX the one that I've mentioned many times come on, mate.
Do you REALLY find it as the most important thing?
If you don't find them usefull, don't use them and enjoy the rest. But with dumb AI, how can you enjoy?
Would you prefere perfectly useful Builder and Landlord, but the AI as dumb as it was?

Maybe you could try some mods, for example at Laudan's Mod the benefits of Landlord/Builder are trippled, which makes them quite usefull, especially at the beginning...

I dont like using mods and even dont know how I was just hoping they would fix them... I thought they problably see what mistake theyve made... But I guess its not such a big thing after all.... lets just enjoy the rest ...
BTW im still experimenting in playing without merchant and it works quite nicely.....Oh and I was hoping they would fix taxes theyre much too low i mean it will be more realistic thats how Kings ften got rich .... :go:

Seriously, I can't promise anything, but there is something that tells me that this patch is not 'the end' of KoH.
Man of a few words,aren`t you? :)
Although I am quite new to KoH, I would also like to thank the devs for the upcoming patch.
Its also pleasing to see that this may not be the end of the ongoing support.
So cheers, I can't wait to try it out.
Well well, it's a long time I have played this great game, but it was far too easy.
And then ..... :snowman:
When I have time I'll give it a new try
THANKS :sunflower: !!!

 Wow, I'm looking forward to trying out this new patch.
Question though: Can you apply the patch and continue to play Saved Games or will they be incompatible from one patched version to another?
The reason I ask is that I would like to try out the new patch, but also eventually finish my Epirot AAR.
Should I finish the AAR before installing the patch?
Thanks!
I hope it will be much harder.
With "As the player’s kingdom grows, neighbouring AI kingdoms now get more hostile to the player and friendlier to their other neighbours" and announced change in AI strategy I hope we can expect effective AI resistance and conquest.
What I find very important too is Top five most powerful AI kingdoms have defence bonus when fighting on their own territory.
I forgot one thing: Is there any change in AI "dynastic policy" Whatever is done, if the AI is unable to find brides for his princes, it is always just a question of time when the kingdom collapses in civil war = loses everything but it's original provinces
One more thing I find very important and may help AI effectively use it's military power is:
Changed the priority calculation for the ‘reinforce battle’ action of AI marshals and made it tweakable. Priority for reinforcing a battle at a castle has an additional weight bonus (also tweakable)
generaly I like all the changes, except the 2 missing (and editor but hopefully Angry's tutorial will help :go:)
PS: it took only 4 hours to become 4th most active thread. KoH revival :hello:
was anything done with editor at all? :bash:
I mean, it doesn't have to bee all that good, just that it works

I'm glad to hear that patch is coming out on Friday :) My expectations are only focused on improved AI, because this is the main reason I've ended my adventure with KOH, so please make it really hard developers.
Of course HUGE THANKS to all of you people who where fighting for better KOH all this time and to the programmers involving in writing patch.
We will check soon if waiting was worth his price. See you soon in KOH :D

:go: I hope you'll soon see my avatar as a leader of invincible AI army :knight:

Well this is great! I have to say, theres much more on that patch then I expected. If the AI truly uses siege weapons, things will be MUCH harder!
And better yet, there will be more for KOH in the future! I hope this means a stand alone Expansion with multiplayer!! :)
WOW, the announcement has brought a lot of old faces back to the forum! This is good! :gogo:
I'm also surprised how people on other forums react.
I think the patch makes everyone happy :gogo:
oh, but I maybe we should stay on topic of the patch content (to make our notes, suggestions and complaints easier to find for Frujin)

shouldn't we divide the thread in 2?
"Second patch is comming, what do you think" and "Second patch content discussion"?
On monday it will be extremely hard to find some real "patch content" posts

I first took the e-mail about a new patch for a joke or being a faulty message.
I might actually install KoH again when this patch goes life.
Took "some" time, but better late then never!
Nice work people! :hello:
Cool! I never did get this. Is there a version out there that's not Starforce bugged? I'm in USA.
Thanks!
wait wait, what has KoH to do with Starforce??
is the european (German) version having a Starforce protection???
sorry for the OT, but please, answer shortly...

no starforce in my version (european)....
Oh, I got a question concerning my mod and the patch.
So, will we need to rework our mods? I suppose we will. Just to make sure
