Well....I want a new PC, but haven't the cash for it.

Next one would like to float in space and - without any gravity - play Pacman.

binchen
17-05-2005, 20:13
I hate Pacman. But I would like to float through space.

Next one can't understand why I can't stand Pacman.

Angryminer

Next one runs naked through the city by day.

Angryminer

22-05-2005, 20:55

"I, I mean myself, cannot make up for what you have done for me well enough!"

The next one believes my interpretation.

karima
23-05-2005, 17:31

Next one has a different translation

Angryminer
23-05-2005, 17:45
Yes: "Shut up, idiot"

The next one doesn't believe me.

Angryminer

Dobber
23-05-2005, 21:58
You are right about that!
I know my translation is right, I researched it!
In Japanese they don't necessarily have words that translate as a word for word translation. They have single words for whole sentences.
baga stands for "I mean myself"
Sumimasen is "I can not make up for what you have done for me well enough!"
another way of saying it would be "I am sorry I cannot repay the kindness you have shown me, I mean myself!"

Next one believes I actually took the time to research the meaning!

the knightly sword
23-05-2005, 22:20
well i actually do

the next one is going to tell me that he didnt research it

NaVatar
23-05-2005, 23:05
You know what, i think he did
Little longer than I orginally thought but Dobber's right (i thought Sumimasen meant like "I'm sorry" or "Excuse me" and Baga meant "Idiot"
Mystery solved people

Next one will now learn japanese and if you will not, i will hunt you down with a Katana! (just joking  )
