thanks, but I already gave up any work around this game.
I don't have enough time to waste it this way... I'm sorry to say it but KoH is a waste of time for me now
That's a pity. Does that mean you won't be updating it to the new patch when it comes out?
I won't. I don't even play the game now. Last I played it one or 2 weeks after the last version of the mod was released.
So I hope you understand that I won't work on a game I don't even play :sad: It hurts me to say this...

Well, happens. Anyway thanx for a really good mod.

Yes, that's the best mode yet! :go:
The units-stats is much better as the original.
But much better, if you can give other graphics(bit) to the additional units/buildings!?
Thanks! :cheers:

As gesture of honor I've made a german version of this Mod.
I made this as update, the translated files must copy/replace over yours.
I think tomorrow after some tests(and my school) I send you this update and I can/will give an honor in the german forum.
I don't know how good is your german or somebody has considered this option.

Here the German HR-Mod (http://forum.sunflowers.de/showthread.php?p=123212#post123212)

I'm deeply honored by this. :bowdown:
It's great that somebody likes my mod that much.
Unfortunately I'm unable to do anything more now...(new graphics)

I'm very glad too read your favor. :wink:
I found a bug in the different techtree.
The upgrade buildings order:-> Armory -> Chain Mail -> Scale Mail -> Plate Mail
become don't use by the AI !??
I'll look how this handle/happens in other mods.
If I've more experience, I can continue your mod-legacy!?
[edit]
I found this lines in the GoG-mod(buildings.in2) works fine;(red is added)
[scale armor]
req = armory, chain mail
override = chain mail
[plate armor]
req = armory, scale armor
override = scale armor

Yes, the hospitalier(in german Johanniter) was the first Crusader Order, here the http://olliminator.homepage.t-online.de/hospitalier2.pnghttp://olliminator.homepage.t-online.de/hospitalier_m.png pic , the color fine/right?
I've few more suggestion;
The three christian knight order are very similar in your mod, so I made few changes. (look red)
UNIT ID DFNCE CTK m DMG m ATTRN S SIZE GOLD FOOD EXP MP WALKS RUNS
templar 40 160 25 50 30 1000 50 200% 700 30 55
teutonic champion 60 140 40 50 25 1000 50 200% 700 30 45
hospitalier 50 160 20 50 30 1000 50 200% 700 30 50Another disagreement with some ranged-units values in the original and HR stats.
Why have crossbowmans, longbowman the same penetrating power how as norrmal/light bowman!? Longbowman could also pierce armor.UNIT ID DFNCE CTK m CTK r DMG m DMG r ATTRN S SIZE GOLD FOOD EXP MP RANGE WALKS RUNS
crossbowman 10 35 70 15 10 300,150 30 800 50 200% 600 150,450 30 60
longbowman 5 30 65 15 8 500,300 30 1000 50 200% 700 250,750 30 60
heavy crossbow 35 35 70 20 15 400,100 30 800 50 200% 800 160,460 30 55
Why give it the hospitalier not in Brandenburg(ok i see in game Franconia(86)=Hesse lays in that territory) and Nassau(159)=Franconia(Duisburg), they mentioned 1160 there!?(later in Sylezia too but not sure)
I hope you like my changes and it comes in the next version. :smile:
I'm going searching more features and update reasons. :nono:
Thanks

thanks a lot :go:
and yes, it is separate for those who are not interested in my mod itself but are scared with the map... (another reason is that HR_mapchanges are all in all parts of another - at least 2 - mods, so ths was made for Xuca and Angryminer. There are some new changes and I see no reason why should they download my entire mod when their own are equal or - especially from theri POV - better)
I didnt get this thing of separated files!
to play the mod I need to install both or any of these?
@Olliminatore:
I prefere to have only one "order kinght" per province (with the exception of some French and several other special provinces) thatīs why they are not in provinces with teutons.
I really like the picture, but Iīm not sure about the stats (especially the run speed. I donīt remember my original, but I want teutons to be very very slow (plate armour and no horse, they must be damn slow!)
@Jedediah
HR_mapchanges is included in HR1.6 so to play the mod you need to install only HR1.6
mapchanges are separated just for those who like mapchanges but prefere some other mod.
PS: @Olliminatore how did you make those changes with the picture?

Assassin http://olliminator.homepage.t-online.de/assassin.pnghttp://olliminator.homepage.t-online.de/assassin_m.png With PhotoShop, Ok!? :ycool:
I used layers with opacity 75%. I made also(manual) a smooth border-mask.

can some one give me a more detailed explanation of this installation step that elvain put up
"c) rightclick on one of files, "extract all files - to original directory(ies)"
That's in PakMan. With PakMan.exe you open a .PAK file and then you follow:
c) rightclick on one of files, "extract all files - to original directory(ies)
And KoH will extract all files from that .PAK file into the original directories :wink:
I have done small update. Now when you unite kingdoms by my new quests, the flags and colours will be as they should (Rome will have golden eagle on purple shield instead of byzantian flag etc.)
I plan some modding in the end of january so maybe new version will come untill mid february....
this little update will be available as attachment in the first post of this forum
Elvain - you should add to your HR_mapchanges.zip the TrainUnits.txt (&.XLS) for the new countries otherwise have the "standard" package of kingdom units, which, in my case, resulted in them being possible to train peasants whereas nobody should've been able to ;)
That way the .ZIP is complete!
well, I have started to make some changes... now I'm kinda testing it (due to fact I need to study I make all kingdoms be controlled by AI, let the game run on gamespeed 8.0 and from time to time check it if the game isn't paused)
by now it is interesting.
I still don't want to reduce the nostalgy completely so I made it work this way:
max nostalgy is -5 and loyalists are reduced to 1 loyalist per kingdom, so the loyalists don't make big kingdoms care only for rebels
I also plan to make the AI use exotics, converting exotics to valuables...
gems -> jewles (available in jewlery, override of silver mine)
ivory - being available as product of merchant guilds (which will be little more available, but not much)
spices - product of admiralities
silk -> brocade (Angryminer's idea) product of brocader (being upgrade of tailor with silver as requirement - silver, not silver mine)
sugar - product of bulanchery (bakery+honey -> bulanchery)
amber - product of amber collector (hunters' huts -> amber collector)
have no idea what to do with ebony :sad:
