Thanks for the updates, love em, thanks for upgrading the fansite, i guess i bugged enough eh, lol :D :D
Nice "little" update - just bad that only one new unit was presented :(
But, what really got me on the edge of my chair was that the two newest screenshots featured a moat ! - it's the first two screenshots we have ever seen of a moat in close view :)

All unity types (except) peasants can perform one of the four formations:
block, triangle, line, row (collum)
Regarding building showcase....please not yet, let's first finish the units.
All four..
Yes and you can face and wheel
Thanks Frank that was so illustrative. :D
When i was looking at the screenshot of the
Midieval town in advanced level (http://www.knights-of-honor.net//english/screenshot.php?screenshot=0095&all=0095|0094|0093|0092|0091|0090|0089|0088|0087#) i got this nice little idea: When you suspect an attack you should be able to order the castle to prepare for war - this would mean the number of guards should be enlarged and the castle should appear with wooden terraces attached on the outside of the castle walls.
I think that it the upkeep ( if suchs excist ) for the castle should relative expensive, but i also think the castle should get some sort of defensive bonus, coz these these terraces were built to prevent the enemy getting close to the walls.
In peace time the upkeep for the castle should ofcaurse be less.
These terraces i have seen on pictures from the castle of Carcassonne (http://www.games-flow.de/Carcassonne/History/WarRebuildings.html) - there are also shown a decription of a mobile tower.
Wat do you all think about it ?
Seems almost like a detail my Marshall or Castelon better be competent enough to handle on his own.... though it's a nice historical piece of information...

I like your idea Henrik.
The castels with moats how can be assault? there is some kind of ropes or something to climb?

My guess is that you:
1. can use the the mobile tower if the ramp on it is long enough to span across the moat and on to the wall.
2. have a team of assult engineers who fills up a part of the moat with dirt and thereby creating an earth-dam you can pull your siege equipment across in order for you to bring your siege equipment right up to the wall.

Well, this is an idea of you or it's in the game. We will use engineers...?
I don't think this could be cos a moat is suposed to be deep enough to be refilled during a battle...
Maybe ropes, or long ladders...

can everyone give me the link to their fansite for KOH page? if other stuff on site, it's ok, i mostly need the koh page, I want to post a poll so people can vote on the best fansite so far...once i get enough links, hopefully more than 5, i will make the poll with the links and people will vote, i'll also give 1 week for people to update it before the votes start so it's ready....just pm me the link or email at gdaoust1@cogeco.ca with subject "KOH LINK POLL ". I'm not sure i should of posted this here but want to make sure everyone sees it. I'll be collecting the links till saturday the 13th, and if not enough are in, i'll extend it. What do you all think??
It sounds like a good idea and it could be fun to compare the pages....:bday:

Yes, that's something i'll asume coz if the mobile tower's ramp can't span across the moat and on to the wall and the drawbridge is up, then i can't see how it's possible to assult the castle  - ofcause this lead to your two other options A)besiege the castle untill it surrenders or B) use your trebuchet to destroy the castle.
btw, LOTR3 has originaly sappers who could fill the moats ( this is also where i got my inspiration from ), but they had to sorta give it up in the final released version.
*WARNING! - off-topic: does anyone else but me think, that the units manning the siege equipment in LOTR3 looks like pixies ! - like the ones found in gardens !* :D:D:D

Then you haven't visited patrick's fan page at The battlefield (http://www.the-battlefield.com/index.php?page=kohmain&game=koh) - he has done a great job IMHO
I think that the site is much more informative than the official KoH site !
