I'll also stand along with the crowd cheering this friday's update - I especially liked the updated FAQ and The Knights (Part I) feature :go:

And we have now the answer if knights die of old age (:)), in "The knights (Part I)" we read this:
If the Patriarch of an independent orthodox Kingdom dies of old age, a successor must be in place or the Player's church loses its independence and is back under Byzantine rule.

I noticed that too, but I wonder wether that refers solely to Popes/Patriarchs or to all knights...

i don't know the word never ;)
maybe means maybe ... depends on many things, you must know!
so, if i say there will be screens and next friday they are not, you will be disappointed. if say nope there will be none and next friday they are, you will be happy. so i say maybe and you stay tuned and post wishes for the screens and proof worthy for new ones ;) quite simple, isn't it ;P

Hmm...right, and in the FAQ we have no answer to this, maybe I was a bit too fast...

Knights do not age and die of age...
Only Kings, Pope and Patriarch

well couldn't one of you knights be the pope and than could die?

yes but then he is Pope, not anymore a normal knight
@Frank
IMO you should consider to let the knights age also i.e. it could make some nice twists to the game if forexample an experienced knight of yours dies and he doesn't have a son to succed him i.e. this would mean that the king ( that would be us ! ) suddenly would have a huge army BUT not an experienced general to lead and command it . i think that would be a VERY interesting senario - wouldn't you agree ;)
Please consider this "nice" little detail when you make KoH2 :go:

Why should the son of a knight be in any way experienced?
But anyway, I guess that they thought about it, implemented it and said "Bah! That isn't funny!".

Hmm...i liked it more if they could die, too. :( But it will have it reasons...
I have an idea, for koH2, why not make a option to order a marshall with some expirience, he will simply cost you more than a "newbie"...:)
