Yeahh, i sorta have figure that one out myself - but thanks anyway Frank :) - it just that it don't looks like i'm able to open the files which i got from xvid.org ( I have downloaded xvidcore-1.0.0.zip )

So i don't know what to do

you most likely have downloaded the source files.

Try this (http://files.xvid.org/downloads/xvidcore-1.0.0.zip) (right click and say download here).

That's the file i got in the first place !

btw i found this in the FAQ on their site

Q: What should I do with the files you provide in your download section in order to be able to simply watch XviD files?

A: The files from xvid.org contain source code only which is a package that's good for all operating systems and hardware platforms. Before you can actually use XviD, you have to compile the source files with an ANSI C compiler for your OS and hardware platform (like Microsoft Visual C++ for Windows or gcc for GNU/Linux and other free OSes).
If you don't know what the above shall mean at all, then the source code package isn't right for you and you should use google to find precompiled 'XviD binaries' for your OS.

From reading this it looks to me that we have to do a bit of searching on google in order to get this going !

One could ask why you've decided to use this codec - instead of a "common one" which we all already have installed ?

While i'm mad i also think it's kinda stupid that in order to watch those videos we have to get a new videoplayer - as i said i my earlier post - why don't you just publish those files in a format and/or with a codec which we have - so much trouble for so little...

btw, i don't think make users know this .avi; format ( the ";" is not a misspelling )

Thanks for the tip, now I see what I've been missing. :go: Anyone else need help, try using this player (http://www.divx.com/support/newbies.php?url=http://www.divx.com/support/newbies.php)

I have finaly managed to see the two movies - thanks to the link which Rnett provided :go:

I didn't install the player - i only installed the codec, so you don't need the player in order to see the videos.

I think the Waterfall video look great, however it would have been nice if the squad where moving instead of just standing there and also those sheeps they should have been moving around too - but all in all both videos were great because it's the first time we see something from the game. I'll hope that in the NEAREST ! future we'll see a battle.........ohhhhh, come on just a small one.
