No...kinda lost my appetite...-.-
You don't even want too try my Smörgåsbord (or as you english fellows say it: smorgosbord) which I have set up in here?
maybe she will, if you tell us, what you put in there.

Lots and LOTS of Smörgås.
I've made most of the sandwiches from a secret recipe passed down from chef to chef, father to son, so I can't really tell you. One things is certain: It's gooood. Oh, and it will heighten your sexual drive, cure cancer , make you immortal and leave a tingling sensation. Nothing special.
Oh my gosh! Don't let FrankishHero anywhere near it! I think he is probably tingling enough already!

Believe me, I don't want it. I know what's in it.
But it surely can't compete with BLTs...
catt goes and makes BLTs for lunch

What are BLTs?
BLTs are exactly what it's called.
It's a sandwich. With fried bacon, lettuce and tomato. And mayonnaise. Yummy.

A sandwich with Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomato.

Thanks, Catt!
Great picture! I prefer to put the tomato in the bottom, then the bacon and then the lettuce though. All "glued" together with mayonnaise. I've just made the experience that the tomato will sooner or later be squished out if it's anyplace else.

Eh, I just throw everything on and eat it. What's even better than mayo, is horseradish sause!
I'm not sure I can get a decent horseradish sauce in Germany. Of course you can get them but it doesn't compare to what I know from the USA. :bawling:
In fact, I very badly miss burgers from Arbys too. Such good sauces! Well, we finally have Subways now, so that is *something*.
Another thing I miss are oreo cookie blizzards. I actually found oreo cookies when I was in Chile, so I took some with me and smashed them up and mixed them with vanilla ice-cream. Not really the original but better than nothing. Don't tell the Germans, but really they have no food culture. No decent Pizzas either...
(And now I'm hungry. Well done, catt.)
Leave off that mayonaise or horseradish sauce, then it will be fit to eat!
NO WAY!
Apart from that I wouldn't manage eating it without spilling half of the stuff... nothing sticky to hold it all in place!
Without any sauce it's almost like a salad already.

(And now I'm hungry. Well done, catt.)You are both very evil. I was just going to go to the supermarket to buy something to eat and now I will be forced to buy everything I need for endless amounts of sandwiches instead of buying something senseful. Thank you oh so very much!

But you know... BLTs are SO good
By the way, an easy way to fry the bacon: Get paper towels, put the bacon on and then another sheet of paper on top. Fry in microwave for about 1 to 2 minutes. If you don't have paper towels, putting them on a plate will do too.
And get that bacon in very thin slices, not chunk of bacon or those little cubes.
Another thing to pay attention to if you use mayonnaise: Make sure the toast and the bacon is not very hot anymore before putting the mayo!
