ugh - the world up here is covered in a 1/2" solid sheet of ice and the wind is howling - hope the power lines hold up..... i think a day like this calls for comfort food! enjoy :cheers:

I would happily share some of our weather here...

every day is blisteringly hot with temperatures constantly above the 30's (centigrade sorry unsofisticated aussie nfi what it is in f) and quite often over 40... roll on Autumn (fall) :eek:

Well I was born in Copenhagen (Denmark) and came to Australia at the age of 5.
Talk about culture shock!!! you shoulda seen all those aussies staring at us like freaks when it was sorta cold to them and we were still running around in our summer suits hehe.
