And some quote about it in german:die seltenste Ameisenart in Australien gesichtet wurde? Es handelt sich um die Art Nothomyrmecia macrops, die erstmals 1931 gesichtet wurde (eigentlich eine Sensation, denn bei dieser Ameisenart handelt es sich um eine Ur-Ameisenart, mit noch sehr stark vorhandenen verwandtschaftlichen Merkmalen zu den Wespen!). Die nächste Sichtung war ca. - durch Zufall! - ein halbes Jahrhundert später - und.... seitdem nicht mehr!

By the way, I copied the Nothomyrmecia from another forum, I was very surprised no matches came up (I was certain there must be some), but since they all claim to be specialists, I never thought they might have misspelled the name. Thanks! :biggrin:

My favorite cookies are the ones from Subway. I just can't help it. I don't ever manage to make them as good as they do...
