Right now I think only Karima is running, that's why she's not in the colosseum that often anymore :-p

She was here yesterday . . .
Maybe she'd hang out here more if you'd quit chasing her.

But then I'd have no reason to want her here?
You could maybe chase different girls each day? To get diversity so too speak.
but please tell us which will be the next one, so we can keep off.
You know Dobber, that cake is pretty impressive! Is it really the first one you ever made?
Yep, My very first cake! I have been cooking for years, learned from my Mom and then added to my skills experimenting on my own. But that is my cake! I make a pretty mean Apple pie as well as a superb Pecan pie. I also make scrumpcious Blackberry cobbler and Apple cobbler. I am sure Peach, Strawberry or Blueberry cobblers would be just as good, but I don't eat those flavors so I don't make them! (I make my own pie crusts from scratch).

A mean apple pie? Does it spit in your face or something?
@ Binchen: Maaaaybe.
Yep, it is so good it disappears so fast you say, "That was mean, no more pie!"
So how come you suddenly decided to make a cake? Was there any special occasion?
By the way: I've never really had a good pie yet. None that can compete with cakes at least. I've always felt the crust totally out of harmony with the filling, as if it it was nothing more than a necessity that had to be done and was done without effort. It's kind of difficult to describe...
I love baking cakes (I hate the washing up though). That's one bad thing about living alone: If I make a cake it'll last forever cause there's nobody to share it with. So it always takes a while until I make that particular cake again...

Yes, there was special occasion! My wife's birthday! She has not had a home baked birthday cake since we got married, so I finally got enough courage to attempt it and baked her one this time.
And the chocolate icing is(was, because it is all gone now) old fashioned iron skillet cooked fudge icing!

 Say Dobber, you wouldn't happen to know how to make blueberry pies, would you?
Well, it shouldn't be much different than other fruit pies, blueberries, sugar, a little bit of butter, just a sprinkle of nutmeg, a squeeze of lemon juice, a pinch of salt all combined together in a pie crust and a fresh rolled flaky crust for the top and the edges covered with foil to prevent their getting to brown. Pop it in the oven until the top crust is good and brown and the blueberry juice is bubbling through the vent holes in the crust.
Take it out, remove a slice to a plate along with a big scoop of premium, vanilla bean ice cream! Enjoy!
