I think in african coast there should be much more provinces, but the same is in Europe...
as the game is focused on Europe I found it ok.. yet
If it would be possible to edit the map, I would like to put there more provinces...
Do you think maybe more provinces would strengthen the AI a bit, or poterntially? That would be good.
Thank you !!
I Hope it is finished quick
It would be cool to make a sort of campeign mode where you can see only the map of england, you start as Wales or Highlands and try to take every English province step by step, with random encounters like ( in the form of text messages):
- Scottish shepherds have given you hordes of goats and sheep. ( + All armies food resupplied)
- Fletchers of Wales resupply your archers' ammo ( during a battle).
- 2 bands of ... ( Highlanders, Archers) have joined your marshall in [city]..
If you take a province, message screen from english king appears, threatening you, sending a new army, fortifying cities, ....
MISSIOn: take all provinces..
Is that possible..?

It wouldn't help them as long as their ability to actually manage their provinces isn't increased as well. The AI is very stupid in terms of making their population happy, which is one of the main reasons you hardly see a powerful enemy kingdom in KoH. Even if an AI kingdom can lead some successful wars and gather some territories, it'll lose most of them shortly after due to counterattacks and/or rebellions.
So again, the key is not giving them more territories, but teaching them to handle the ones they have in a more clever fashion. The rest would follow automatically.
I can't believe it! Frujin is still there and they have not forgot the game.
Well no doubt Black Sea Studios has not forgoten Knights of Honor, but I had my doubts that Sunflowers has canceled this forever.
Godd news so far! :go:
oh, and it made our good old Bora come back to forums.
That's another good news :go:

Welcome back Bora. :go:
Wow, I suddenly remember that it's been pretty long ago that I met you at Sunflower's, Bora... 2004?
If Frujin passes by: We need to know how to place castles/towns. That'd open the knot and we could start making maps.

So I decided to post again.
I think its fantastic news that a new patch for KOH is on the way:go:

sorry all, I must have lost some critical lines in this topic... my question would be: is it now official that a new patch is on the way?

ALLRIGHT!!!
I must have confused this topic for the one opened before about the "possible" outcome of the new patch... now I see, thank you Elvain :)
perhaps, one could change the title of the topic... just an idea :silly:
Hey Redback, I was thinking of you just the other day! Welcome back!

Truly excellent news about the new patch. When hearing about it I couldn't resist installing KoH again but I realized to my horror that I had lost my copy of KoH when i last moved. But last week I got a new copy that I picked up from eBay (I've done my share - bought two copies ;). I installed it immediately and have already won a couple of games at hard.
I just want to say that you guys have done an incredible job with this game, it is one of my all-time favourite games. I am sure that there are many like me that agree even though they never find their way to a forum :).
Can't wait for the new patch!
